Anyone impacted by hotel strike ?  Is it only in the cities ?

I hadn't even heard of it until I read this. There are about 180,000 hotels and motels in the USA.  According to a news article,  about 40,000 members are striking.  So it seems like most hotels and motels are not affected.

Heard of it, just got back from Vegas and didn't noticed any changes..turn down service was done and on time.

Yes, several of these low-end chains:

"The Unite Here union, which represents more than 40,000 workers, has been locked in contract negotiations with several big hotel chains, including Hilton, Hyatt, Marriott and Omni. "

Most of the woman I tend to see usually stay Hilton or Marriott hotels.  I tend to avoid those who use Red Roof and cheaper chains.  The Hyatt hotels where I live are all at least $250 a night and I doubt any butt the real high end will go there.   Omni is a bit too small to affect most of us, except if someone is happening to stay there and goes for outcall.

Hell I hope not! I have 3 different stays booked in 3 vastly different cities this month alone!!
