Well then two recommendations...

Mexican - Lauriol Plaza.
Spanish - La Taberna del Alabardero.

Hello friends!

I’m back from my super lengthy hiatus, and I’m ready for some travel fun! I’m Sanaa Rae based out of Atlanta. I am considering visiting the DC area next month (maybe Tyson’s) and need recommendations! Places to eat? Places to see? Places to grab a drink?

Thank you for any recommendations!
Hope to hear from you soon 💋

Lots of good places to eat in DC, but if you're staying in Tyson's will you be coming into DC for food, etc?

Do you have any favorite cuisines?

I’ve done a little research and will be in downtown DC. As far as cuisines—I have a very open palate but will lean more towards Caribbean, Italian, Mexican, African, Japanese, Thai, and Spanish. :)

Thank you. I’ll take a look! I will also travel for food, so it does not have to be in downtown! :)

If you like French cuisine, there is a great restaurant called La Ferme in Chevy Chase, MD which isn't far.
I'm not a huge fan of French food but I love this place for both food, service and atmosphere.

I also forgot to mention Rasika (they have two locations in DC I believe) if you're in the mood for Indian.

Thanks so much! I’ve added these to my list and will let you know what I decide to try!
