FMTY - new abbreviation?  
Can someone tell me what this stands for?

She will be the one complaining for the world to see about all the guys who have the nerve to send a request for her to visit their city on a tour (TIME WASTERS!), but WONT send her a first class airline ticket, put her up in a luxury hotel and see her for a minimum of 6 hours.  

 
Some of the girls just cant fathom a guy who can afford a grand or so for a couple of hours but cant afford the 5K for a FMTY. ugh

 
That's why I just love most of the girls who thank you for a request to tour a particular city. It means they understand why feedback from clients or potential clients is so important to evaluate their business and to determine if she might have the demand to entertain a tour request to that destination in question.

 
Most girls get it and I thank them. The burnt out ones who look at those simple requests as a nuisance or a chore should go onto your DNS list as I am sure they are a joy to spend time with.

Realistically, you should be flying yourself to her, because if you have to do this, you probably live in a flyover state pussy desert, which is no place to live in my book.

A lot of these providers who have fmty in their bio have never had a fmty. Lol I know of one provider (now retired)who pretended on twitter to be on a multi day fmty and being wined and dined in San Francisco by a wealthy client.  This was after she had a string of cancellations and had a Twitter meltdown over it. She tweeted all through her fake fmty about how generous her gentleman was.  

 I think a lot of the rude behavior  towards clients who request tour stops  is a way for some providers to show off to each other how tough they are. Like how delisting from TER has become the thing the cool girls do and there is a lot of peer pressure from the work crowd to bash TER.  

 Why they don’t just politely decline by saying I only accept fmty or will consider if I get enough interest for that city is beyond me. The utility of twitter is evident here because if a provider will go on a rant  bc the audacity of a potential client asking if they are interested in putting a certain city on a future tour stop, they automatically go on my dns list.

But that doesn't make your advice bad. I haven't priced FMTY as it holds no interest to me, but I can't imagine it being less than five grand or so. For that same five grand you can fly first class to Latin America, or a nice Caribbean Island. spend a weekend at a four star beach resort, fuck a dozen different local girls and most likely still have a couple of bucks leftover from your five grand when you get home with a nice tan an empty sack and a great attitude after a fun filled weekend.

 
OR, you could stay in your own shit town, pay some prima donna several grand in the hopes you get laid by her once or twice while taking her to the local Olive Garden for entertainment. Wow, doesn't that sound like fun. lol

... is that you CAN'T find someone, ANYONE willing to "FMTY," no matter how MUCH you pay her!  LOL!  

This is actually great advice, and something clients don’t always consider. FMTYs aren’t always feasible (the flight, the hotel, the hourly minimum....) BUT it can be significantly less expensive to bring yourself to her. Book a shorter visit if that’s your preference. Heck, don’t even book a hotel— fly in that morning, out that afternoon or evening!

If the gal cancels last minute, or NCNS, the guy is out beaucoup bucks on the flight and other associated costs. Lots of risk there. My thing is I just don't  understand why so many women complain about a simple request to come to their city. Seriously is it that hard to say "no I don't tour" or "thanks for thinking of me, I'll put you on my list if I come to your town!"

I am only speaking for myself when I first started here as many know I did not tour anywhere or offer any kind of travel.
I started offering Fly me to you dates and actually going on them a couple of years ago.
Not every lady who has FMTY in her Twitter bio/ads/website is someone who is bitter or is trying to get a guy to pay for first class travel. I know there are some ladies who do ask for first class/business class for FMTY travel that is their right to do so.

I do not ask for a specific type of class for travel but I will roll in upgraded(Legroom) seats into my travel costs.
I enjoy these type of dates and I believe I have a review of a FMTY with a special TER gent from a couple of years ago.
For me it is exciting to travel to a new city/state I have never been before with someone I know and we are comfortable with each other. I went on an awesome 7day fly me to you date to Hawaii and it is memories I still cherish to this day.
Not every guy can do this I know but nowadays there are many guys who are open to these kind of dates.

I also tour as well now so I am not just an exclusively "fly me to you" provider.
I have no issue if a gent reaches out to me to express interest on if I will ever tour his city or not.
Sometimes with enough interest I will tour his city and I will reach out with dates and he books an appt
But what I do have an annoyance over time with is the guy who has watched/followed my or a providers Twitter postings and ads .
He sees that I am coming to his city and he can never get his schedule together to book an appt.
I am not talking about one or two times I have guys and some other ladies do as well guys who reach out for their city but never and I mean never book.
Those are the ones that some ladies do rant about. Speaking for myself personally If a guy does not want to book when I travel multiple times to his city and does not want to do a fly me to you I am not going to keep engaging with him.
But I am also not taking it to Twitter to talk about it,to create a poll about it,have a discussion about it.
Just my thoughts on the other comments pertaining to this thread.

Why not just hit up the ladies you (plural) are friendly with and do it bc? Do you really think any potential clients want to hear a girl that is charging $$$$$ per hour complain to the public about a time waster every few days?  

 
It comes off as jaded, burnt out and unprofessional and so glad you don't go down that road as you sound like an intelligent women with good business sense.  

 
I run two businesses and believe me, I want to rip my hair out at times with some of my clients, lol, but what I DONT do is go on my social media forums and whine about them or trash them. All too many girls on twitter do this and it nauseates many men and drives many of us away from them.

This seems to be a day and age where many want to vent on via social media for whatever reason.
And I agree whether it is a provider or a guy ranting about the same thing over and over gets very old.
Anyone that is a business owner like you and many others of us are going to have problematic or annoying clients it is all on how you deal with it. Nowadays it seems like there is always a rant on social media in this realm or in civvie life.
For the potential clients who are quietly reading and taking notes on who is nuts,sounds like they are not going to be fun,or seem to always have problems is not good for business. That goes for any business.

As I wish I could bottle your outlook on this life. There is no wonder you have tons of quality reviews spanning years as that is a testament to you not viewing your clients as a bother or annoyance.

 
I certainly don't want to paint with a broad brush to the negative side, as most girls on twitter that I meet up with are awesome with fantastic attitudes, or are very good at feigning such, but in the end it doesn't matter as long as she manages to be cheerful and fun when we meet.

 
Social media can be a girls best friend or it can be her biggest enemy. I don't think a lot of these girls think through how what they post can affect their clients view of them and how that view can influence his decision to see her or not.

 
The ironic thing is some of these very same girls will post how slow their business is from time to time. Of course there are other factors that influence good or bad times in the biz but how one markets herself, and how she shows personality, is certainly one of them, a fact you obviously get and I applaud you for it.

She’s been on TER a longtime and I’ve never seen her get jaded, or rant or whine. I can’t recall her ever saying a bad thing about a client or provider. She has also been very helpful on the newbie board for years.

She is a 2 time Miss TER, and there’s probably a reason for that and I know that’s not just based on “likes” on her photo board posts.  

I don’t follow twitter but I can’t imagine she’d be any different on Twitter.

And you know I can be a bit testy at times. lol.

Seeing that I have access to two of the hotbeds where some of the most beautiful ladies reside, LA and Las Vegas, no need to do the FMTY, The ladies I know will do the DMTY.
Only once did I EVER do the FMTY and she was an exceptional beauty from LA. It was one of those YOLO moments.
But I can understand if a guy's in say Fargo, SD where the selection might be, how can I say, very minimal. Then the FMTY may work for him.

I see it all the time on their websites, but I wonder how many of these girls have actually had a guy do this.  I guess its okay to advertise it, but it seems similar to some of the ones that have rate card that goes in increments up to "one month exclusive for $250,000."  It just seems like posturing to make them look like they are in a league that they're not.

It is right up there with the fake college degrees and "world traveled" nonsense. Maybe once in a blue moon some guy will fly a girl in but it is rare.  

Most of the crap you read on web pages is written by professional copywriters.

FMTY is also a sales tool. Like how Armani sells suits, Giorgio Armani high end. Then lower-priced products like Armani Exchange. I may not be able to afford a suit, but I can buy an $80 t-shirt with Armani emblazoned on it.

So for the consumer its "Wow, "some" guys are paying her $15,000 for an overnight plus first-class ticket" She must be a high-end product.

I can't afford that, but hey, I can have her for an hour and get a taste for $500. Nobody may ever 'buy' the FMTY package, they'll certainly give her a whirl for an hour.

I have no idea who he is but if he contacted me and revealed that was his twitter handle that would be no.

It is 10yrs as an independent provider this month and time sure does fly when having fun! lol
It is very easy for ladies and guys to rant/vent at times and sometimes we forget others are looking and sometimes people don't give a damn.  lol
As time goes on I have been more cautious of what I say/post online here/ads/social media.
At the end of the day I know why am here and on those sites and social media and it is not for a kumbaya/blow some steam ranting moment it is for business.I try to be helpful when I can as so many others have done here including yourself.
