Welcome to AZ love!

You learn to rise hella early at dark o’clock & go workout. I like to run early mornings, or swim before it hits triple digits. You go outside when it’s cooler early mornings & late at night. Attend events that have AC. Lifestyle changes when you live in the desert. Stay hydrated.

Many providers travel to better & cooler climates during the Hot Phoenix Summers!

So coming from Northern California I’ve had to reevaluate my love of outdoor recreation. It’s not really feasible to jog outside here lol, yet I’ve seen a few people doing it.  I’ve looked into roller derby and horseback riding.
I’d love to know what y’all do for fun out here.
I could use some inspiration. Hope y’all are enjoying your holiday. -

I’ll definitely take all of this into consideration. I just saw someone jogging at 5am lol! Does anyone host mixers in Phoenix. I would love to come meet y’all. ❤️

Golf, all year round, Going to the gym, Movies in the summer anything that's inside during the summer
9 months a year its perfect here.

I view summer in Southwest AZ as the perfect time to head for the mountains for hiking, biking, and whatnot. We were just camping in the Payson area and the weather was awesome - except for the thunderstorm that caught us out while we were row-boating lol. Got our fill of hiking and just generally taking in the views on the Mogollon Rim though. There are plenty of other scenic areas around AZ that have cooler summer weather like Flagstaff, Jerome, Prescott, and so on. It's a really long drive to get to but my absolute favorite place to go to would be the Grand Canyon North Rim - staggeringly breathtaking views and not crowded in the summer unlike the South Rim.

I will visiting there more & it’s absolutely beautiful year round.
