In any case sounds like she wanted you to ask your questions, and ask for that twice. You then bailed rather than asking your questions.

 
I would not chalk that up to drugs. Bad interaction, yes, but I think you own some of it.

Mentioning a menu can be taken as you are possibly a member of LE and trying to frame her. Of course she is going to be cautious and ask you more questions before telling you what her "menu" is - which would never be discussed anyways. That's what reviews or a website is for. The better question is to ask if she has a website or reviews that you can read.  

This is not drugs nor a "deranged stripper".

I think she was giving you an opp to clarify and things went downhill from there.  
I'm thinking that you could have said something like:
Oh! Of course not. I referring to your PD [Private Delights, I assume] ad.  
I was looking for reviews on TER and  
-- I didn't find your profile or any reviews. Did I miss it?
-- I did find your profile and reviews and I was wondering if everything is up to date
and so on.

trying to book my #2 visit last-minute. just had a gchat conversation with someone listed as available now on PD. the first person i saw for over a year and they were amazing and well adjusted so this was quite a shock. is this drugs? a deranged stripper? how common is this kind of mentality? what should i have said instead of "menu"?

Firstly, find out if she's available for your requested time.
Screen with her.
If something is really important to you, mention it(after screening) in a way that isn't off putting.
Something like, I love xx!  Or if you have a profile somewhere that you can direct her too with your likes, then you could ask her if you'd be compatible.

If it's something like cuddling, pillow talk or kissing, these things are perfectly reasonable to ask about.
The other stuff is better to be discussed in person, but still be kind and thoughtful about it.  

Remember, it's all about your approach.  You are asking a stranger to invite you into their space for intimacy.  
Don't beat around the bush, act cagey or avoid her questions or you look like a jerk.  The more open, direct and willing you are to put yourself out there, the better chance of success you have.

And to continue to go back and forth when it’s clear the session wasn’t going to happen…..oh ok… interesting  

Read reviews and see her website or her ads.  

Not really cool to call people deranged or on drugs if they didn’t do anything.
