Yeah, I'm being really sarcastic here. But this is why my #1 rule is don't do anything to compromise my real life info. If that data somehow falls into the wrong hands it creates a huge problem. The only way I know to ensure that does not happen is for me never to provide it.

This does lead to a still unanswered question though. What steps to "reputable" providers take in handling, storing and/or destroying personal information from clients? I realize this question will trigger some because I've emphasized reputable but it's constantly thrown in our face as some sort of qualifier that will provide a level of comfort knowing they won't use it against us sometime down the road in the same manner taking place in the OP's post. There are some great and probably quite trustworthy gals out there but what do they do to secure/protect this info from exactly these type of people who would love to hack into that data.
It seemed like the “providers” do not understand English. I did find one legit provider on there a couple years ago and I know of one other legit provider who is on there. The volume of ads and many of the pics are too good to be true.
