Any recommendation for a provider who doesn't require reference from another provider?  New to the hobby.

As a newbie myself, I understand where you're coming from.  Anik and Yasmine Greek would be a great choice.  Both are wonderful, talented women who are well reviewed here on TER.  So either one would be an AWESOME introduction to the fun!

Jeep, I would say Ashana provides a primo ANY kind of experience--first, always, and last.  I just HAVE to keep going back to that sweet gal.  I like STAYING a while, too!  She came around way too late to be MY first, but I suspect if I ever give all this up, she will be my LAST.  Only problem is, once I do that I won't be able to quit, AGAIN!

I'm drawing blanks here.  It's been so long since I was a newbie, I can't think of anyone right off hand.  Stick to someone who is well known.  That way you can get references and establish your "hobby portfolio."

Good recommendation on Anik; I think she's fantastic.  However, having said that, I wouldn't recommend her for a visit this month.  If you check her website, she is booked.  You can add yourself to her "cancellation" list she offers, but IMHO this is not the way to start the hobby - hoping somebody cancels.

Better to find someone who can see you than hoping somebody cancels, maybe.

I just checked her website and Anik does still have times available next week.  I saw the following dates/times:

Wednesday, Febraury 16th - 8am until noon
Thursday, February 17th - 2:30pm until 5:30pm and 9:30pm until midnight

Yes, she has does have a note that says she will put you on a cancelation list if you want.  But that doesn't change the fact that she's still available.
