My response to this issue might not be liked but what the hell its my .02 cents.  I have had this discussion/argument with several lesser known providers in the past couple months.  I ask them why they lowball so much.  Not only does it make them look bad but it messes up clientele for women in the industry across the board.  Over the years I have changed my rate but not by much.  I am what some may consider a bbw, and because I am not 5'5 125 I have had some say that I dont deserve to charge 225 for an hour.  But to me its worth wayyyy more... shoot wouldnt your time be worth a lot if you were selling it??? Moving on. I believe a lot of females are looking for quantity over quality.  Charging $149.99 for an hour and still girls looking for that 20 dollar tip at the end of the session defeats the purpose.  Its sad to say but they dont understand that if they had a certain amount of clients, seeing them one at a time for 200-250.....instead of 5 guys at 150 a piece {????} that could probably save some heartache frustration and some wearing out. But rates that a girl charges a determined personally.  All I can do is give my two cents and hope that the providers out there charging less then minimal for their services listen.

I confess Ive not seen a great correlation betwween price and performance. One very well regarded visitor keeps her rates low ($$.25-$$1/2 per hr.)so she stays busy (and here is her secret, gets multiple hour dates which means more revenue and often include lunch or diner)She enjoys the company and has a large repeat clientele. she candidly told me "Its not brain surgury its sex and thats what its' worth!" On the other hand Ive been told the only thing girls got when they lowered their rates to generate business was lower class clientele.
Personally, Im skeptical of a low ball rate ($1/2+) until the feedback is received and confirmed for the obvious reasons.
If I ever did see a girl that charged that kind of rate, which I havent, I would tip her considerably if we got along as I'd feel she was cheating herself.
On the issue of higher rates, Im sure there are girls who are off the charts and, in the right situation and with the right guy, well worth more than the normal range here, that being
$$1/2-$$$.
Certainly there are several wonderful women in DC who could and maybe should be charging more than what they are charging. This based on what their competition receives. They may have thought this over and concluded they would rather stay busy. Evyone is diferent.  
Also, different cities have different pricing structures and touring women can be all over the lot in what they think they can charge. Some are simply greedy, others ignorant. One asked me if she could charge $$$$ here. I told her she could try but her competition charged less and she quickly decided $$$ was the number for DC.
My thought is do what your doing Vanica. Ask questions..You'll get some honest feedback and then do what feels right for you. Best Wishes and Happy Mardi Gras!      

How is a website reported bad in the first place

In general most hobbists will check the reviews first before looking at the price. A provider that provides good service with a good price gets repeat business. Some providers might charge 300/hour, but only charge $800-$1000 for a night. They are a hard find but they can be of a good value.

A good provider will be so good that they can go under the radar and not have to advertise (I.E only find out about them from reviews).

A good provider will charge the same price for different things on the menu. Or if something is not on the menu, it is offered for repeat business.

Now if the rate is too low watch out. You get what you pay for. Sometimes a low rate for incall is an indication of a bad incall place. I have heard of horror stories where the provider was not clean and did not brush her teeth, lol.

The number one goal of a provider is to charge the right price for repeat business. Go under the radar with good reviews.

i think a girl should charge what she wants.maybe she really likes getting  pounded.i know a beautiful provider that charges $200 for half hour but doesnt advertise it.but no gfe,one cup of coffee and youare out.she liekes itthat way sometimes because she dont alwayswant to entertain for an hour.
