I've read the last 12 pages of this forum with interest. Nice to see there are a lot of other guys considering a "first time" experience.
I'd appreciate it if someone could explain something to me. I've noticed that a few girls have their incall rates posted on line. Plus, rates are given in the TER reviews. There are a lot of girls, however, who do not post their rates.
Last weekend, I called three girls and asked about availability and was told to "go to the intersection of x and x" and call me. When I asked "can you give me an idea of what the rate is?," two of them just said "go to the intersection and call, then we can talk about it." The third one said something like "it's up to the gentleman to determine what's appropriate for the girl's time," which I don't believe for a second.
Now, this is L.A. I'm talking about, and getting to the "intersection of x and x" can take anywhere from an hour or longer and I'm hesitant to drive all that way only to have someone quote me a rate I can't afford or don't want to pay.
I guess I'm not fully understanding why some girls are so secretive with this information when others post it publicly on the web.
So, here's my questions:
1. Is it too much to expect a girl to tell you her rate over the phone? Note, that the question I ask is "what is your usual rate for incall" or "what kind of donation do you like."
2. Is the "drive to the intersection and then we'll discuss the rate" response a sign that I'm about to be taken advantage of?
3. Is negotiation expected? She says $300, you say $200 and you settle on $250?

Good questions. Most importantly, thanks for doing research first and asking more specifics.
Here's my best cut at answers
1) You should expect to get a rate over the phone. This is relatively standard procedure, particuarly if none is quoted online. I do find tgirls more concerned about LE, which sometimes causes them to be more conservative as to what they describe on the phone. Try to put them at ease a little. Girls that refuse to quote, IMHO, are very high risk: a select few may be legitimately semi-pro, inexperienced and/or trusting, but most are looking to nickel and dime you once you get there.
2) Ah...the famous "2 call system." Easy one. This is standard, almost universal operating procedure for tgirls. Rationale: TGirls get very high cancellation rates. Tons of perverts who call under the illusion of getting information but really just to get their rocks off over the phone. For every 10 guys that call and say they'll be right over, maybe 2 ever show.
So for many tgirls, you don't have an appointment until you're at a cross street. This #1 shows that you're serious; and #2 makes sure she has time to get any prior client out the door. This can be a pain but you get used to it. There is a hotel version which involves room numbers. Biggest issue is when you get the "give me 20 minutes" at call #2.
For repeat business, this usually isn't an issue. Some of the lower volume traveling girls are much better about advance appointments. Being nice, classy, no bullshit on the phone does wonders too, IMHO. Know when you want an appointment. If its not ASAP, then be explicit and ask if she prefer you call 1 hr before. Ask superfluous questions at your own risk.
3) Negotiation was covered under a recent thread. Consensus was its not a bad thing but within reason...girls hate a cheap-ass but they also respect someone who's not a total layup. My personal experience is that haggling is more acceptable at clubs than for internet dates.

Okay now for the real info. All the posts here are accurate but your total costs is what I'm sure you're intrested in.
Some T-Girls are just plain janes and not that much to look at but can provide an exciting session. Expect to pay $150 to $200 for this type.
Some T-Girls are really hot looking but not much in the action department, or not fully functional, etc. Still if she looks really feminine and attractive she can get $300 or so for her session.
Some T-Girls are really hot and have that star quality that can mean a superb session. These gals are very rare but they are out there and you can expect to pay $500 or more for this type.
As with everything else in life there are exceptions both to the low and high side of this outline but this is about what you can expect to pay for a typical 30-60 minute session with a TS.

You are right that most tgirls don't post a rate. Needless to say, to the uninfomred they will try to get what they can out of you. Luckily there are boards like TER and SER to which reviewers have posted what they actually paid. use that as a guide. Average is usually $250.
Don't negotiate. Just lay the donation (as seen on her reviews if she has one) on the nightstand and let it go at that. Be aware that $250 does not necessarily buy you an hour. Most tgirls are one pop girls. U cum, U go.
There are exceptions to everything, but a little research will tell you a lot of what is said is true. peace and have fun.
