I had another date with my #2 this weekend. She's the hot 25yo who travels through my town every now and then, who I have posted bout before. I was sitting at Starbucks afterwards getting my caffeine levels adjusted, and ruminating on this week's efforts. It's gotten so hard to find someone real on SA. #2 arrives on time, always does what she says she's gonna do, and is a PYT who is always DTF. Ok, so she's not a thinker or a conversationalist. Do I care? A little bit, not much. But she is dependable and reliable. It kinda amazes me that the current crop of girls on SA have made me adjust my expectations downward so much. But anyone dependable and reliable now qualifies as a major Gem! I wasted many hours this week on 3 losers who all demanded $ in advance. Not gonna happen. The previous standard format of: DM onsite, followed by texting, followed by 1 M&G, followed by a BCD date with $ome $ugar, has become quite hard to find. Where are all the real girls who used to populate SA?? Girls who actually know what they want, and what they want is totally reasonable and fun! I can't believe that they suddenly don't exist. Maybe migrated to a different site? Or maybe they all moved through a portal to a colony on Mars? I am very grateful to have two earthgirls in my rotation rn. #1 and #2 are enough. But the pipeline is empty, no new arrangements in development. And we all know that arrangements last exactly as long as they last.
You aren't kidding it's been tough. I've been on Seeking for 3 months to find a replacement for one of my regulars [who is leaving the State to start a new life, which I pray she will find happiness] and it has been a dreadful slog through fakers, flakes, rinsers and thieves, far more than I encountered some 12 months ago when I joined. Even 6 months ago it was better than it is now. Overall, the quality of the ones who are real has been lacking, thus I've had to adjust the bar lower than usual. Even in a major market like LA, where the numbers are high, actual QUALITY SB's are lacking. Most of the ones available are just not very attractive to me. The ones I do find attractive are not responding or they are scammers, or haven't been active. I wonder where the decent ones have gone? Perhaps they too have gotten fed up with the loser men and scammers they've found and just left the site altogether. It's pretty damn depressing. I hope this situation improves soon cos this sucks big time.
I’m back on SA after being away for 3 years. 3 years ago I left abruptly as I had no patience for the changes that I had seen through the 3 wonderful years of 2016-19. During that 3 year period, it was ridiculously easy to find 21-28 yr olds who would meet for drinks or coffee (without asking for $$) and would engage in a direct conversation about needs and expectations. At the time, $300 per meet was readily agreed to for multi hour BCD dates that may or may not involve an additional public component. The number of meet and greets was seemingly endless and one could walk away knowing that another was just around the corner. It seemed like both sides knew and understood the unwritten rules of the game.
Now? I have found it virtually impossible to move from communicating onsite to off site. WhatsApp? No thank you. Getting a meet and greet? 3 months and I’ve had 2. BCD? Zero. Where are all of the 21-29 yr olds who used to play this game well in the classic “mutually beneficial way?” One good thing has been the increase in 30-55 yr olds on the site. That’s good. Has it changed my experience? No. They are just as hard to get to a M&G. Not sure if I have the patience for this any more. But we tend to stay because we know it only takes one. But where is she??
