Just curious, have any of you guys had any success with alternative sites such as sugardaddie.com? Or any others? I guess I’m wondering where else the pretty young ladies go to look for us guys other than SA. Where else have you had success?

My experience has been that SA is the best site for this sort of thing. I've been successful on SD.com, WYP, and even Ashley Madison, but SA seems to be consistently the best hunting ground. Of course, real life has been the most successful of all, but of course there are always complications there.

I agree with DS that SA is the best way to go.  I've never had any success with any other Sugar Dating website.  

But I'm truly amazed by DS's comment that "Of course, real life has been the most successful of all."  I haven't had a civvie date in several decades, let alone gotten a civvy into bed with me. I guess I just have no game. But I've discovered that in the Sugar Bowl I have great game!  For me, the big difference is that on SA I have the security of knowing that the women have preselected themselves.  They actually WANT to be approached with offers.  This is probably the one key difference that gives me the confidence to approach them and work my considerable charm.  How to approach and come on to a woman in the real world remains a mystery to me.

Ashley Madison is a sausage fest.

I found at least 15 different partners on Ashley. My own experience argues differently. Admittedly, it’s quite a bit more work, but on the other hand, it’s free. I have an ongoing, over ten years, relationship with someone I met via AM.

AM being "free" the women are more demanding about looks.  A good looking guy can pull anywhere.  Some of us didn't win the DNA lottery.  So AM or just about any bar pickups are very difficult.  I let Benjamin be my face now.  Much better results.

Nevertheless, the site is lopsided in the men:women ratio.  I did my own tests and it was like 20:1

AM is definitely a different game. You have to invest a lot of time in closing the deal with anyone you meet there, and that's definitely work. If variety and convenience are your priorities, that's what TER and SA are for.  

I found that the lengthy process of getting with someone via AM was an investment. By the time you wound up BCD, you knew them pretty well and had a pretty good idea of how to make them happy. Maybe that's the upside to it - by the time you get together, you actually like her, sort of like in real life.

I'm single, but the reason I was on AM was precisely to find women who wouldn't take up too much of my time and attention, while still having a lot to offer. I just mentally counted it up, and wound up with 17 partners via AM, and probably as many dates that one or the other of us walked away from for the usual variety of reasons. I don't think I ever had an AM date that wound up BCD on first meeting - patience is essential.

I also have a friend whom I met via AM - because we were both targeting similar women! One of the women I was seeing said, "This other guy was hitting on me and he told me stories of some of the other women he saw much like your stories - you may have been dining off the same buffet." I'm not with her any more, but I'm still friends with him.

So, you know, everyone's experience differs. Sorry it didn't work out for you, and I'm glad that SA is fruitful for you. Me too. Definitely having fun there.

Secret Benefits.  Found a few SBs on there as well.  The first time I used it a while back I thought it might be a scam because I wasn't getting any hits/responses.  But it has picked up and seems to be legit.

but I am an unpaid member, and I can say that when browsing through the profiles on that site I have seen SB's that I have been BCD with that I met through SA, so I agree the site is legit.

I like the fact that I can purchase credits that don't expire.  As an infrequent peruser of the sites SA's payment by time ends up being more expensive (even when I'm not using it) than paying for a few hundred credits that will last me for months because I use the site sparingly.  (I tend to see the same SB for a few months at a time due to my own limited availability - Fridays only basically)
