Saw this post on another sugar board, posted about an hour ago:

"New Photo policy
Did anyone else with a premium account get locked out today? I updated the app and had trouble logging back in and noticed a new email from SA stating that effective immediately "all profiles require at least FOUR pics and one has to be public". What BS is that. That kinda defeats the purpose of paying to be premium."

I am wondering if this is the 1st visible action from the promised changes noted in the Brandon Is Back email I discussed a few days ago?

Anyone with less than 4 pics (including one "public" pic) see any issues?  I have around 10 pics, all public, and I see no issues.

Wow. I last logged out and back in yesterday with no issues and have received no such e-mail, but if this holds true, I'm out for good and I would suspect a very high number of men are gone. I am not married and have nothing yo hide, but I absolutely will not post a public photo here. Think of the incredible number married men who will be running for the hills. This would be absolute suicide for the site and one of the truly dumbest business decisions in Internet history.

For quite awhile I have been getting the warning that my profile is "unsearchable" because I have only 3 photos, all private. But it mattered not to me because I have my profile removed from searches anyway to avoid the endless parade of Venezuelan and Filipina likes.

I didn't have a public pic because I don't want my face out there.  Guess I'll have to make one that's of the back of my head or blurred if I go active again

I received the same message about 3 or 4 months ago.  At the time I only had 3 photos posted.  Had to post a 4th in order to get back on.  I think I did mention it here at the time.

I don't know about the guys, but a lot of women use pictures that can in no way identify them. Blurred face, sunglasses, sharp angles or dark exposures. So that might be a way to handle the new policy. I have public pics, nothing to hide, so haven't seen that. Which other sugar board?

I have zero, and don’t plan on adding one.  When current rotation is exhausted, back to agencies I guess.  Not adding photos, definitely not a public one.

Good luck Brando.  Hope you lose your ass, and your gold digger in the process.

Fwiw, I have danced around the “you can’t be searched” popup for months.  Logged in as early as yesterday.

FYI2, the “Advantages of Premium” still states in FAQ on website, public photos not required.  So, if required, I will request a refund for any time left.

A contract is still a contract.

All the changes over the years are probably attributable to Fosta-Sesta but I don't understand the obsession with the law. Maybe one site was prosecuted, but there are prbably hundreds (including TER) that still operatewithout any apparent issues. I don't think the government really wants to use the statute for a variety of reasons, probably because it's full of constitutional holes that wouldn't stand up. There may be other reasons for rebranding but I don't think this is one.

I agree.  But do remember that when Fosta Sesta first passed into law, even TER disappeared. There was a great deal of paranoia surrounding the liability of website operators who could conceivably be held accountable for what users of their site posted.  For about a year, as I recall, anyone trying to access TER was greeted by as a screen stating that the site was unavailable to users within the USA!  It continued to operate in other countries, and only became available to us again after the owners moved their operations to a country outside the US, one in which they felt safe from prosecution by overzealous US prosecutors.

Tried to login from backup IPAD today, and after logging in, it took me to Signup screen (like am I a man, or woman, blah blah), basically scratching my existing profile.

My main IPAD stays logged in for days for some reason, and is still logged in and functioning.

A few hours or days left it appears…. Oh well.
