My girl friend keeps getting yeast infections everytime we use a condom. Without a condom everything is fine. Is it  because we don't do it often enough for her to used to it or could she really have an allergy to latex? How often does it happen if this is really the problem? What type of measures can we use to change it?

I would recommend calling her gynocologist, general practitioner or the Planned Parenthood where she is likely to receive an educated answer.

Best,

Kate

Is because most often they arent full of the lubricants that a latex condom holds. Hence,What causes yeast infections. As well, a poor diet, tight jeans etc can cause yeast infections.

A gyno, yes ! An educated answer from Ciara, YES. I'm a nurse.

Won cent git anemur edumacated den dat`.

I like the trojans because they are strong. Durex are only good for BJ's. I had a durex break one time they are just not strong enough for thick guys, lol.

that it has nothing to do with condom use and you are infecting each other. Both of you should be checked even if you are asymptomatic. The problem is easily solved when you both admit there is a problem and seek medical advice.

One thing to consider is also what, if any, lubrication is on the condom.  For instance, if the condoms have non-oxynol9, studies have shown that some women are sensitive and will develop yeast infections after it's use.  Her system may also be sensitive to certain lubes.

She should be assesed by a professional though, as chronic yeast infections can be a symptom of diabetes also.

Good luck!

Redhot/Megan is 100% correct. You mentioned she only gets the yeast infection when you use condoms, are you using condoms lubricated with spermicide?  Spermicides are known to kill off a females natural flora, causing the over growth of yeast and resulting in yeast infections.  Of course your partner should consult with her GYN, and remember to mention all common factors before the infections normally occur.  That way her DR, cannot only cure the current infection but make an assessment of what is causing the infections

Pt. says to dr. "My arm hurts when I raise it.

Dr. says to pt. "Then don't raise it."

You have a couple of problems here.

1. The fact that you are using a condom probably makes you last a lot longer......Longer more vigourous sex will create dryness that will promote a yeast infection. And, my guess is that she's afraid to stop you mid stroke and add more lube.

2. If you are using lube you need to look at what you are using. Unlike other girls, I'm not a fan of ID or astroglide. It makes her looser and it takes you more time to cum at which point until it breaks down making her tighter you won't reach orgasm.......therefore no one wants to reapply at that time. I use and highly recommend KY. It is a bit more sticky which adds to both your sensation as well as hers and rarely needs reapplication unless you are on a marathon.

........also the lube that you use needs to be sugar free.....which means no tasty stuff....SUGAR CREATES YEAST! She is not allergic to latex but it may well be that she is allergic or sensitive to Sugar as many women are.

Always apply the KY to her and not to you......It will last longer this way and not be pushed out when you enter her.

Keep in mind that a lack of proper lube will by all means cause condom breakage.

And, as far as condoms go......I highly recommed Kimono red or Kimono Max as well as trojan gold for the larger man.......these are all condoms that are thin but very very strong.......so that you get the best sensation with a very low risk of breakage.

You will not find these 2 brands of Kimono in stores but they can be ordered from Mayer Labs in Oakland California for about 28.00 per box of something like 200. And, the Trojan golds can be purchased at Walmart for about 6.00 for a box of 12 which is half the price of anywhere else.

Oh, you gave my trick away with the astroglide. Yes I know you last for a very long time. It is great you get to try 6 different positions. I hate KY, it is too sticky and it can cause pre-mature ejackulation. I love it when some of the younger providers have never used astro-glide. They complain about how guys don't last that long. Providers will tell me they want a 2nd nut, because of the slipperiness of astroglide.

Some providers will only let me put just a drop on. Then they say "You are so thick". Then they realize they have to put more lube on, lol.

The best is when the astroglide is cold and lube up her asshole while she is cuffed. Nice to hear the moan. Oh boy I get hard thinking about this, let me stop, lol.

And, you have done this how many times............MR. What????????

So many of us live our dreams and guys like you just dream about living them..............So very Pathetic.

I also ballgag the provider also while she is cuffed. Nothing like ballgag greek. It is about giving the customer what he wants. So many providers really hate men but yet they will be a provider, go figure that one out, now that is pathetic.

Some of these women come from broken relationships. They will give the booty up free to a looser (guy with 5 women), and then sell themselves. Others get played by married men who promise to leave their wives. The married guy will start to pay then get it for free. That is what I call pathetic.

Others will brag in private about how many men they have seen in one day. That is what I call pathetic.

They get a nice guy like me who books multiple hours or an overnight and they are glad to be with me.

to see her OB/GYN asap, get tested and get a check-up.  Also, acidophilus is good for preventing yeast infections.  Buy the best, at a Whole Foods or organic market with a reliably fresh supply in the refrigerated section.

The yeast is an opportunistic parasite.  Three things can contribute to starting a yeast infection anywhere on the skin; 1) skin irritation; 2) lack of exposure to light; 3) a lack of neutral bacteria on the surface of the skin; 4) an alkaline ph on the skin.

The bacteria I describe always compete against yeast, and usually win out.  They are natural enemies.  Summer is basically right about sugar and yeast, but sugar is as helpful to bacteria, so alone it shouldn't make her more susceptible to yeast infection.  If she's taking antibiotics, that could cause a yeast infection to get started.

I would look at skin irritation as being the cause.  Perhaps through lack of lubricant, an irritation from the lubricant, or perhaps a minor allergic reaction to the latex of the condom.

You might try different things singly.  You've already tried doing BB, try doing it, if you haven't already, with lubricant.  If she breaks out, you know it's the lubricant.  Try using the condom with a completely different lubricant; if she breaks out, you know it's the condom.

I got a yeast infection once on my wrists.  I had a job that required me to wear latex gloves with talc.  It irritated my wrists, and I had a complete yeast infection start there.  It wasn't really the latex, it was having to wear it everyday six hours a day in moist conditions.

Curing it: she should consult her obgyn about doing this because I don't know what the effect on the vagina might be, but if I get a fungal infection anywhere, I always use a combination of three anti-fungals, lotrimin, mycatin, tinactin and/or lamicil.    It's expensive as hell, but three treatments of that mixture, and it's gone.

If she washes afterward with anti-bacterial soap, that could be it.
