Haven't been hobbying long, but long enough to sample a few of the area's providers and re-see the ones with whom I connected the best.  

I generally prefer the longer appointments (those that include a dinner and some get-to-know-you time), but every now and then I schedule an hour appointment for some stress relief.

It was bound to happen eventually, but I always wondered what my reaction would be when it did.  Upon arriving at my favorite provider's incall location the other day, I passed by a gentleman walking down the apartment stairs - we gave each other a brief grunt of acknowledgement, but when I looked at him I instantly knew that he was the appointment before me.  

When I got to the apartment, she apologized for the awkward situation...indicating that he had forgotten something and that he unexpectedly came back for it.  

I shook it off and had a very enjoyable time with her, but I have to admit it was a little odd.  And I find that, in itself, weird.  I mean, of course I know she sees other guys and that scheduling an hour appointment virtually guarantees that I'll be seeing her after another guy.  But even though I wasn't that bothered at the time I find myself thinking that if I schedule an hour again - I will do so in the morning to better ensure that I'm the first appointment of the day.  This brings a variety of interesting questions that I'm sure have been brought up a thousand times here - so I may just be asking them rhetorically (since I really can't ask anyone I know).  Would this type of thing throw you guys off?  How do you feel about seeing so-called high-volume vs. low-volume providers?  If you're a provider reading this, do you take any steps to avoid this situation?  How would you feel if your last appointment just suddenly showed back up 20 minutes after he left because he forgot his cell phone or something?  Answer some or none - just thought it was interesting.

Happened to me once about 6 months ago.  Yes, it's weird but once naked next to the lady I forgot all about it.  I don't normally do late night appointments for this reason.
