Groups of providers who tour aren't going to be thrilled with my message but so be it.
I just read a review, from my neck of the woods, about an encounter with a touring provider who works for an agency. The complaint was that the experience wasn't GFE quality.  
Most (if not all) of these ladies selected by these agencies are very beautiful and command top dollar. They aren't cheap, to put it crudely. But they're here today, gone tomorrow, and have little interest in developing a connection IMHO. Some may never visit your town again in their lifetime. I would never see a member of a touring troupe unless she had stellar reviews. Even if the group has a good reputation, that's no guarantee about a particular lady.
I'm not taking a swipe at individual providers who tour and have reputations that are out-of-this-world great. (One in Arizona comes to mind.)
Personally, I prefer local providers with whom I can develop a little bit of familiarity. Kinda like "support your local businesses". To each his own, but that's my caveat.
