don't get me wrong! physical bondage can be a lot of fun. i have not personally been bound in quite some time (have not established that sort of trust with anyone), but i've been playing with sensual domination & restraint -- from light to heavy, & on both sides -- since i was 18, and rendering someone literally helpless, then overwhelming them with pleasure, can do things to a person that are just out of this world. in a way, it creates a safe space for someone to be pampered -- to be adored and devoured with no expectations (since they can't move!)... for most people, especially those who are obsessed with reciprocity or even one-upmanship in the pleasure game (such as myself), this is a rare treat.
that said... it's when you can keep your lover frozen to the spot with the sheer power of your will -- when someone is so drunk on your touch, that they will stay still as a stone just to have more (because if they do not, you'll deny them your touch) -- that you've really mastered the art of bondage.
of course, my views on S&M are rather unconventional, so take that advice for what you paid for it.

I personally really enjoy light BDSM play involving tying up the girl and sensually dominating her, but I am not into any heavy stuff. Sarching through TER it is pretty hard to find providers that mention they are into this AND are willing to do it, though. It may just be that this site doesn't really have a good way to search for that (selecting "Heavy" for S&M is helpful but doesn't really fit the bill), or it may just be that not too many providers are offering that type of service - which I can understand because it does take trust to do something like that with someone you barely know.
Perhaps another option for providers that my be interested but hesitant would be to bring a second provider that they know so they don't feel as apprehensive? It would cost the hobbiest a bit more but he could get what he really wanted in the end.
The question is really how do we find the girls that are willing to provide this type of BDSM for us when we are in the mood for something different?
