Hey there,

I may have contracted something, or it must just be a case of jock itch, or as someone on a forum put it, "friction burn from intercourse", or some such.  My question is, I don't want the test to show up on my insurance anywhere b/c I don't want the SO to find out.  Where do I go to get a test and pay cash for it?

Discreetly Wondering

Are you not using condoms?

I think he puts them around his brain stem to numb the temptation to straggle dense people and their thin membranes.  This is only a guess.

Put - STD clinic yourtown - into Google.  You should get plenty of options of health centers that are either free or low cost, non-judgmental and anonymous.  Obviously, if you live in a really small town, you should pick the nearest medium-sized city.

Good luck.

Almost every city has the walk in clinics.  Go in there, tell the doctor what you want, he'll write a prescription and you pay cash to the blood letters.   Simple.

Your county (or city) health department likely does testing and treatment if you're in a major population center.

There is also http://aim-med.org/

You could also just go to any doctor and pay cash.

Anonymity may be hard to come by since most STDs are reportable in most (all?) jurisdictions.

I've used my county health department.  There was no material sent to my home, though I was negative.  It might be different if positive.  I don't know.

I'm not sure where you live, but I live in Mass. and the health dept. does STD tests for free (I pay a donation since I'm not high school girl going there after The Prom, as is sometimes in the waiting room). An internet search will likely help. The tests can be a little... humbling at first.
Better get tested quickly, or your wife might have worse questions than asking about insurance if she gets an itch.

just don't go to your family physician.  Also, be aware that in some places they may wanna contact your recent sexual partners...hmmmm can get tricky...time to pull out the old Ron Mexico alias since Mike Vick wont be using it much. Whatever, just get tested quick...you gotta man.

lay on your back with your head dangling over the edge.

I'm certain another hobbyist can take it from there :P

...to go to one of the "doc in a box" (walk in emergency clinics)...they'll also take you cash and run.

But do so in an adjoining town.

BS

might prevent STAFF from prosecution concerning "the hobby" there t'ain't nuttin that would prevent someone from taking advice from an STD site that was not 1) staffed by highly qualified individuals and 2) insured up to the hilt for malpractice.  Then when their dick falls off cause they porked a sheep with some horrid MDR STD they sue in every court and territory that they think they can attach assets....

So while I agree that such a site would be useful, it is probably not something that STAFF would wish to accept responsibility for.  And quite frankly I don't blame him....

The best online resource for those of us in high risk activities is Sharon Mitchell's AIM site if you wish to enquire over the internet.

However, my suggestion?  get a doc you can trust...
