I have seen a provider a few times but she got banned by TER. Would others consider this a Red Flag ?

Not knowable.  Which is why he appears to be asking if banning of an in itself is a red flag.

Try searching her Provider name on some of the TER discussion boards, e.g., her "home" city and her touring cities (or even General). Maybe there was a recent discussion there: "I sent Mary a deposit and she NCNSed. No reply." "I saw Mary recently and she is delisting because of a stalker." "Mary is actually TS Mary but refuses to advertise as a TS." "Mary no longer allows Reviews and removed the TER logo from her website. ..."
.
Since you know her, are you comfortable asking her? Politely, of course. "I noticed your Profile is no longer available on TER? What happened?" or "... Who did you kill?" or "... Is everything OK?"

Not here, but...I had someone blatantly lie about me, put me down, like I was on his mind every. single. day. for years ( or her mind) with the net you never know. Finally I spoke up & went OFF. Now this FOOL was either competition (who even cares about that anymore), someone I won't see, or an ex trying to hurt me. No one was paying him too much attention anyway b/c after YEARS of me being on his mind constantly, the smart ones knew what he was up to. I have a lot of people that actually DO know me. Point is, I got banned b/c I took up for myself & stood up to a liar of many years. That isn't even almost fair. I enjoy what I do, & I treat everyone well & never have issues. It's a shame people like that are even breathing our air. Just always do your homework. If you know her & you like her,  see her!  She could have gotten banned for someone as simple as taking up for herself against an internet bully.  There's also people out there that don't want someone to have too many clients, so appts are easier to get. I've run into that too. Ridic.

Do you know for a fact she got banned and not delisted? If you’ve seen her a few times, what does your gut tell you about her as a person? Or do you feel okay with just asking her about it?

I think if I’d seen someone more than twice, her suddenly not being on here wouldn’t by itself change my opinion of her because I would have a bunch of one-on-one time with her on which to mostly base that opinion. I’ve seen too many providers leave here and continue working and doing just fine, a number of them eventually coming back.

Some providers don’t WANT to be here anymore. If she was in fact banned though, there are a lot of possibilities as to why. I know a couple who got banned for things they said about TER on other platforms, but they’re still (IMO) trustworthy. You can get banned for having more than one online persona / profile / rate structure. One lady I know logged in to check her account while at her duo partner’s house one day. The system flagged it because of two profiles being associated with one isp address or whatever. They both got a stern warning and I think their profiles were down for a bit while it was all getting sorted. The list goes on.

If she was banned for something you should be concerned about, like scamming or doxing people, etc, she MIGHT still be listed in the ripoff reports. You could try looking for her there.

Assuming you've seen her recently.  What's better than personal experience?
Proceed with caution as with anyone you pay for discreet activities.

Everyone is very willing to help with these discussion questions and situations, but you guys really have to give more info. This would be similar to me posting on a baking board "My chocolate chip cookies did not turn out. Why did this happen?"
How do you expect anyone to give you any semblance of advise without knowing all of the details? The only thing people can do is speculate, which of course is just guessing and not going to be helpful.

He’s probably a newbie and doesn’t know any better. That said, questions like this without adequate background information are incredibly stupid.

Well, looks like he's been around over a year and he is not asking on the newbie board so kid-gloves are optional.

But I agree with both of you, not enough info to really answer. I also had the question of banned versus delisted. I actually would say a provider that was truly banned is a red flag. Might not mean don't see but certainly means tread carefully. Delisting, on the otherhand, doesn't suggest that as delisting occurs for lots of reasons -- only rarely for reasons that might give me pause to see the lady.

Plus, OP is posting under an alias so why not just include the provider's name. Good chance someone here would know about her.

He's using an alias but he could also be leaving a clue ...

It'll be a while. So, smoke 'em if you got 'em.

Getting banned is a serious red flag. At best it means a provider has a penchant for drama and a poor understanding of boundaries. At worst the provider is dangerous or a scammer. DO NOT SEE ANYONE BANNED FROM TER!

As far as I am concerned & Know...............Once a site like this banns you from their site..........You are delisted. Being banned means that you can no longer place an AD on their site for the rest of your Career Life.

Either one can raise questions as to why.
