I used my burner app (thankfully) to text an inquiry to an add on tryst last night. It was first time in several weeks that I had sent a text to any tryst providers. I go no response.
Tonight I received a threatening text from 224 340 9864 (not the number I texted last night. The message says it is from one of the "tryst shareholders" who "owns many of the escorts" on tryst. They say they will come to my home and "resolve it in the worse way" if I do not reply for information on how to pay them.It makes me not want to continue to pay to advertise because I receive more bs emails attempting to steal my information, than actual booking inquires. It’s absolutely ridiculous & not getting any better. It took me over a year just to get an ad up because their verification is difficult. I would ignore & delete all the scammers. Do not respond.
Just block the number. And enjoy your holiday
First, did you report it to Tryst?
And second, why not let the rest of us know which "provider" you messaged? That way we can all be aware of who to avoid. Some guys use their real phones/emails and that could cause them issues.
I called the scammers out on it. In fact I called them right back after receiving their text and made damn sure they knew i wasnt buying their shit. They hung up on me 🤣
The problem was I had inquired with more than one provider for availability at the time and only the scammer responded so I didn't know which ad was fake. They text from a different number. As mentioned block the number and move on with your day.
You should make a report to tryst so this account can be removed. Tryst does have scammers, just like every other ad site out there. I would say as a whole it has less scammers as the screening process is more extensive, but there are still going to be scammers that get through. Regardless of the site you should always report to the admin. Always do your research and cross reference the person's other ad sites, web site, and social media to confirm they are real before sending any personal data or a deposit.
Stay sane and stay safe. Merry Christmas!!!
As opposed to a "scammer" who verified and made a profile, it's most likely that her account was hacked and taken over bc she fell for a phishing scam. I get tons of phishing emails from Tryst and other sites I advertise on - thankfully their usually filtered into my spam folder.
I second the recommendation to flag the profile and notify tryst about the potential hack. These phishing attempts have gotten a lot more sophisticated over the years.
I tried reporting to tryst. They were very slow to respond and then sent me an email saying I had not provided enough information and asking me to respond with the additional information requested below. However, there was no request telling me what additional information was required.
Sexy Doll was the name of the "provider" in the Baltimore/Annapolis/DC area.
I have since received two more extortion attempts worded a bit differently, after contacting several low-cost Asians on Tryst. In this case, I cannot narrow it down as to which it was.
My advice is to always use a burner, but especially for those who look to be too good to be true.
That’s why I laugh when providers say no burner numbers. Only worried about their “safety” and wallet.
I 00%. The current screening processes most providers use puts clients at risk. There needs to be a better way. I would rather work with a third party company that builds a strong reputation, then continue to give out such personal information. The “you want me to take risk, you need to take some too” isn’t right. How about we both lower our risks as much as possible?
I never answer any emails or texts from Tryst . I get about 30 of those everyday and I block them and send the emails to spam. If they are not contacting you directly from a phone number that is established and has many reviews on TER and P411 I would block it
I thought you could set your tryst preferences to not forward or notify you, or to not use their messaging system at all.

This comment is NOT about phone calls or texts but EMAILs. Scammers can set up 1000s of email addresses with misleading info. I.e., an email consists of a NAME and an [email address]. You usually see NAME on a new mail and might not even notice the actual sending email address after you open it. I get lots of scams such as:
.
o American Express [[email protected]] "Subject: Claim your refund" where a8pfp... is clearly an autogenerated gmail account that will be replaced by 1000s more as each one is blocked.
o FedEx Delivery Attempt [[email protected]] "Subject: Schedule new delivery time, link inside"
o and so on ...
o Tryst Message [[email protected]] "Subject: Seeking a meeting" - It might LOOK like it's from Tryst or a Tryst relay but it's clearly a scammer using the email name "Tryst" (and who knows what other NAMES they're using) to get a reply.
.
There are even more ways to spoof an email (NAME is fake AND [[email protected]] is also spoofed!) I'm just sayin' that an email that appears to be from Tryst might not be a scammer using a Tryst account but not from Tryst AT ALL!

You are correct. Because of this tryst recommends never responding to or clicking on any of the links in an email that may look like they are from tryst. They recommend you to log onto the website directly and check your messages there. All of the spam messages I have received that appear to be from tryst have a gmail, yahoo, or hotmail address so obviously not from a tryst account at all and they are just spoofed.
The message about beheading your family on any and all sites unfortunately. They try to extort you into sending them money. Often happens from also going certain sites like porn sites and they infect your phone with spyware and watch where you go. Usually it’s from sites like skip or mega though as far as escorting sites. Kind of surprised for tryst. But then again guys are always doing phishing scams on us in order to take over our accounts so they can run their scams. I would reach out to that lady if you can find her real info and let her know her tryst has been breached. Also make sure you are the tryst.link and not a cloned site which can do this type of scamming too.
