I would expect you to get great seats for the Supe since finding them won't be hard. Not too many want to sit outside in northern NJ in early February. I'll watch from a warmer climate, thank you.

Rex has the same flaws his old man had. Not enough offense support, and an inability to make game changes in the 4th quarter in the games that count. But he is great for some quotes.

the rays are slipping. trust me if the 2 weeks of the superbowl were only in new jersey , giants would never have superbowl, new york is what people wanted, because for 2 weeks all parties will be in nyc, all people will be staying in ny. let me say it again nyc is most entertaining city you can ever go to, its great living here, you have everything here, i would be so bored if i stayed one day in dallas.

Gives a chance to hang by the pool, golf, and do other normal outdoor activities. How many veterans are going to want to go to NYC and stay for a week? Not as many as going to Florida, San Diego, or even Arizona.

As for NYC having everything? How about peace and quiet. I've spent many hours in Central Park, and it doesn't compare to normal peaceful 'burbs.

As for entertaining? I'd pick Vegas. Much more entertainment there. Cheaper accomidations. More affordable top-line restaurants.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be enough New Yawkers willing to pay outrageous Supe prices to sit out in the cold, dank, February weather to watch a game. It's not going to attract as many people from other parts of the country.

As for who I like in baseball? Not the Yankees since the late 1970's. Not the Red Sox or Rays. no A.L. East team. I like the teams that can over-achieve based upon their budget. That will never be the Yankees. The pathetic part about the Yankees now is that they under-achieve most of the time when they have by far the deepest pockets.
