Hello everyone! I recently got a fake review from MELTONN and he never responded to me over TER direct messages. I’m pretty sure that I never saw him in person, plus his TER handle doesn’t match any records. How to fight against fake reviewers? Any tips? Im confused and frustrated because I simply don’t understand the point of leaving reviews for someone you never actually met. Any help would be appreciated

Because TER, understandably, requires you to prove you could not have seen the reviewer in question. And you need to be more than "pretty sure." For example, if he claimed he saw you on a specific date in a specific hotel you could try providing receipts showing you were in a different city. Or that his description of you is wrong in some clearly definable way.
Good luck!

As a provider I have had several fake reviews. TER requires the provider to jump through a whole lotta hoops to have them take down. I keep very accurate records of every client I see and I can tell you the client really only has to say "yeah, I saw her" and they will let the review stay up even with no receipts of emails or texts showing an appointment was ever made or that the client in question even conversed with the provider at some point. This site is still advertised as a "fantasy" review site so they are not going to go out of their way to make sure the reviews in question are real or accurate. That will in turn, of course, causes a lot of reputable providers to want nothing to do with TER and have their profiles pulled.

"Yeah I saw her" is not enough at all.

If a provider disputes her (or his, whatever floats one's boat) review TER asks user to provide proof of meeting the provider. Usually in a form of text message or email. They then make a judgement call.

This does fuck over those mongers who dеlete their texts/emails or use voice to arrange appointments.

Miss Scarlett’s take is more accurate than yours on this one. There have been many providers complaining about fake reviews over the years. In all that time, how many mongers have posted a complaint about their review being taken down because it was fake? Zero.

One more time if you failed reading comprehension.

TER asks the writer of a disputed review to show proof of the appointment takinf place. Then they make a decision based on the info provided.

"how many mongers have posted a complaint about their review being taken down because it was fake"

This is dubious logic. Many mongers will take down their review in response to TER asking them to provide evidence. Many mongers will even take down their reviews when the provider asks them to, because many feel bad.

Just because someone doesn't loudly complain doesn't mean the issue doesn't exist.

I've spoken to many mongers who have had their reviews disputed. Literally every one of them said that TER has asked to see proof of the encounter taking place. They didn't just take their word for it.

It's not a "take" either. Its the difference between knowing how the system works and making assumptions. Don't do the latter.

Hi Mr. Q!

Always a delight to see your takes on topics. I am an actual provider. I am an actual provider who has had several fake reviews on this site. I can confirm, as an actual provider, TER does NOT require proof from a client that a meeting took place. They may say that they do, but they do not. They will in fact just take the client's word for it and leave the review up unless the provider in question makes a daily demand (which I did!!) or the provider just gets sick of the bull shit and has their profile pulled. Obviously we also know a decent amount of providers do not even log on to this site so they have no clue what reviews are out there on them or if they are in fact true or not. You are a client, not a provider. You may *think* you know how it works on our end as a provider, but always best to ask and not make assumptions!!

xoxo
Scarlet

I posted a review one time under my alias and the lady disputed it. TER contacted me and asked for some proof that I saw her. This particular lady (at least back then) did not use email or text, only phone calls, So I had no proof.

TER "took my word" and the review stayed put.

You are under the assumption that providers are only going to request bad reviews be taken down, which is false. I had a very normal middle of the road review (7/7) from a guy that I have never seen before nor had I ever had any contact with in my life. He had no record of ever communicating with me.  I filled out FIVE dispute forms and all were closed saying "he said he saw you." When I asked TER for more specific information as to when this guy said he saw me they responded with "we don't release that information, client privacy." I reached out to this guy for day/time/location and he never responded. The review stayed up for over a month before it took me calling out TER on twitter before they took it down. TER will always side with the client if a review is in question.

Very rich for the certified dumbest poster on this board. The topic is fake reviews. Not “bad” reviews. Not low scores reviews. It’s not uncommon here for providers to complain  about reviews done by guys they never saw. As far as guys complaining about valid reviews being taken down goes? An absolute non-entity here. Check Holystone’s response below. TER didn’t require him to provide receipts. Just his word that he had seen the girl and the review stood as posted. It would be nice if you would take the New Year’s to turn a new lead and pull your head out of your ass before posting.

Some providers and agencies are very aggressive about disputing any review that has any negativity in it.   Totally agree with the point about the issues with having a client provide proof of the meeting; in my mind it is crazy and  extremely bad security protocol to keep any text message or email regarding appointments, full stop.  So when asked for proof the client can be on their back foot trying to prove they did not post a fake review.
I do  think the right approach is when, for example, a reviewer states Greek was part of the session and TER will make a note on the review that the provider responded  that they do not provide that service.  It happened recently to someone I’ve seen semi-regularly and I was surprised (and honestly a bit hopeful, lol), and the provider’s note cleared up any confusion.  Just my .02.

I’m sorry that happened to you. I encourage all providers to report fake reviews to TER is wrong. 😑 idk if they’re still giving out free VIP days as an incentive to write reviews because that’s no bueno when the reviewer is a liar.  You have let TER know the facts. I contested a review that took a month to get removed, but it was false & I was happy that TER did delete it. I believe because I require deposits to book it’s easier to prove if a date occurred. Definitely report a problem with TER. Good luck!

Hit "contact us" at the bottom of any page and report this to TER. Give them as much info as you can and they will look into it. Sorry this is happening to you Kendra!

but they keep their RL info and persona and their TER side separated.

Are the details of the encounter different from what you would normally do, or otherwise are there things at odds like saying it was someplace you've never been?

If so, then follow the advice of others and try to build a case to remove it, but keep in mind that it is not that easy to.

This is not possible, I’m absolutely positive I never met him in person.
I’m pretty expensive and small circle/low volume provider, who’s mostly seeing my regular guys(you can even notice it in my reviews). And I know with who I had sex lol

Not exactly on target, but:

I have an escort/ friend that I've seen for years.  In other words, I'm a regular. This lady takes great care of me, and we always have a good time, for example, going out for dinner (off the clock) after the deal is done.

She had a client who behaved like an AH and was just an all-around bad experience. After seeing her, client published a
review stating escort was "really" trans. She contacted me, in a panic, fearing this review would damage her business. Her English is poor, and she didn't know how to respond.

Long story short, I contacted TER support, laid out the facts including her 100+ positive reviews and asked them to remove the review. They did.

Hope this is useful.

reviews and reviewers, this is a review I would not rely on because it DOES bear many of the hallmarks of a fake review.  Everything is stated in general terms, and this is the kind of review that would fit about 90% of providers.  I can't find anything in it that is so specific, the reviewer would not have known it unless he really saw you, and this is the kind of detail I look for before I will rely on a review of someone I'm thinking of seeing.  A laundry list of activities are generic and can fit sessions with most providers, but unique details about the provider or about her incall location would lead me to believe he was really there, but I don't see anything to convince in this particular review.

Most reviews are more about the reviewer than the provider.  Reviewers should take the time to explain what the provider's style and personality are like or describe some of the reactions and interactions between the two of you, but precious few reviews even mention these aspects.  Provider personality is a big factor for many customers.  It's not only about how well your parts fit together.

Contact TER admin and tell them you have contacted the reviewer in question and have not heard back from him. In the past TER would contact the review as well via PM and after a certain period of time if they have not heard back from him they would remove the review for being fake. We have had many fake reviews removed over the years using this process. Good luck. Fake reviews suck.

I just looked at your reviews and most are 10/10 which is less believable than a 9/7.  I wouldn't argue too much with that.

Really?  You're impugning Miss Kendra's integrity by believing one mediocre score over more than sixty 10's?  So, all those stellar reviews by many well-regarded Mongers are liars and the one person (with only 3 recent reviews) who Miss Kendra doesn't believe she met is the beacon of truth in this scenario.  A new low for you....

So, let me put the same question back on you:  You sure???

Re: You sure?
I just looked at your reviews and most are 10/10 which is less believable than a 9/7.  I wouldn't argue too much with that.

I care less about the actual score and more about if I actually saw the person. Even though we are dealing in the black market some of us do still have a splash of integrity.

Reason is, I don't know of or heard of many guys that have gone from the outhouse to the penthouse. When you hit penthouse status its usually a slow crawl. This reviewers was kinda hitting the bottom and now..he see you? Doesn't past the smell test, even for me. And I'm thinking more of the market standpoint
But one way to find out, check the guys have you've screened. Do any of them play in this guys world? I know the picking are small but it could help you track if you actually saw this guy.
In parting, I don't see how you would fit in his world, so therefore why would he reach out to you? Unless he wanted to get VIP points and zing you along the way

If he left a 10/10 it would have been ok?
Looks like he gave a good/decent review.
Looks and service are always subjective, so just another person's opinion.
So, you're uncool with the 9/7, IMO, it ain't a bad score!

I had a fake review removed that was a 9/9 score. I don’t want any fake reviews. I think you’re missing the point. 🤔 If you were a provider & these reviews are your business how would you feel?

TER should stop giving out free VIP days to write reviews unless you can verify the accuracy. I think 💭 providers should be able to respond to reviews, like another site I just got 1 on.

The score isn’t the issue, it’s that the review is fake. If I left a great review for a pizza place I never went to raving about their deep dish pizza when they only serve thin crust I don’t think the owner would want my fake review up regardless of the 5 stars I gave them. It’s about integrity, something the admins here claim to care about but they do little to nothing about the hordes of fake reviews on here.

asking the OP!
I wanted her answer, there's plenty of posts of other opinions and explanations!

I never told I was “unhappy” with scores or review. I said that this review is bogus and I nee we ver met him in person.

There has been a recent run of review bombing of top rated NYC providers by someone with multiple handles. Based on the review history before they get banned, I believe they are trying to pimp a new girl out at the expense of others.

Clients can help by submitting support requests pointing out inaccuracies in the reviews. Problem report submissions won't work, it needs to be "contact us".

TER takes it's time on this, presumably bc they are researching login times, ip addresses etc. this sucks for the provider bc the fake reviews can stay up for weeks. This would be a great area to enhance the site, by adding an asterisk or something to show the review is in contention, or allowing providers to respond to reviews (another review site allows this).

And to the guy that said, oh it's still a good review, that's not the point. It's about the integrity of the review system and the girl's reputation. For example the contents of the review might not be accurate about services or looks, and gives false legitimacy to the reviewer.

Omg 😳 it’s kinda odd, I don’t even get the point - NYC has such a competition? Maybe this is “art” of agencies? But even though what of the point to post bogus reviews for high end providers instead of for instance, not post good reviews for their girls and help them reach that same status? Idk

Thanks for advice though!

I've had a few fake reviews, I generally don't pay much attention to them unless it says I offer something I do not. Most recently I did have a review removed which im thankful to TER for, because it was although "good", it was very untrue. Have you tried reaching out to TER about it? Generally they will reach out to the reviewer and go from there.  I'm honestly not sure what happened with mine and how they decided to remove it,but it did take a few weeks. Be patient (and respectful) and reach out to TER and see what steps you can take to hopefully remove it

The two biggest problems in the SW business Deposit Fraud and Catfishing.

In recent months there seems to be a gang ripping off deposits.  The steal pics from Instagram or other sites and go  to town.   They create websites, ads on websites like Slixa, tryst or here.    They price it at too good to pass up and the ask for a 30 to 50 percent deposit, which once the get it, the ghost.

Catfishing just makes me angry.  Not5 only are you getting ripped off but you have to deal with the poor girl at the door.   I have a full range of reactions from anger (I want a cancellation fee) to crying.
Its a pain in the ass.  I had one agency say that they never send a hot  girl the first time.

I do have a third beef.   Why is it that if a SW puts you on a blacklist, there is no way to get it removed, but if we post one here on TER, they almost always remove them.    One blacklist site has the most arrogant FAQ regards this.  The blacklists have become a way to punish gents vindictively  that do not  leap to their commands.

Sure there are bad eggs on both sides, but it takes two to tango and both sides should be heard.  Kinda like what is happening in social media.

You guys gotta stop comparing the two. It’s like apples and oranges.

If you are blacklisted and it’s “not fair” you likely only have one report. Many providers understand the black list system can be abused and we take things like this into consideration.

Losing money sucks. All the scammers out there are hurting this business. I feel for you on that.

But please do NOT compare the risk of losing our actual *lives* with the possibility of you losing a couple hundred bucks.
