I said AS bad.I meant HIV.Herp is a ugly virus. I have seen pictures of it on the internet and i would think it has a pretty negative psychological effect on people. If they test for G and S which is curable why leave out herp.If you have hiv, its a treatable virus at this point as long as you take the meds.I know herp is treatable but you still have ugly breakouts.Is testing for herp in porn tooexpensive. summer, i would have to put direct blame on porn. If they are not testing for genital herp and they have all this wild anal and vaginal sex w/o condoms, than its going to spread like wildfire.You dont have to be a medical doctor to figure that out. theres two kinds of herpes. Theres HSV-1 and HSV-2 HSV-1 is the most common which accounts for cold sores some people have or get when they are sick. This particular strain can lie dormant in your body and is generally not harmful as summer is correct by the age of 60 about 85% of people have it in their blood but that doesnt mean you have genital herpes. The HSV-2 is the genital herpes kind. Im not an expert but i think this is pretty accurate... hope this helps...

Aim will do an everything panel that test for all STD's but the porn industry does not require such testing. Yes I do think alot of people in porn do have herpes in one form or another. If an actor really wants to prove he or she is free of ALL STD's then do an everything panel, not the porn industry standard!!!! But I am convinced once they do have that test their career is in jeopardy.

I thought the STD (non-HIV) test at the free clinic also tested for Herpes. At least that's what I was told. It hurt too lol.

The only way you can know for sure is go with someone when tney take their test, stay with them for three months day and night, then get a second test to confirm. Obviously you can't have sex with that person during that three month period.

if u test for the full panel at aim they will test for both variation of herpes and one is that common sometimes if you have a cold sore you will test positive and if you dont you will not
but they if you do the normal porn panel they dont test for hiv1

Someone could test negative and still have the virus. THAT'S why they don't test for it because the results are inconclusive unless there is a soar present.
