I thought what Rush said was deplorable, & what Roseanne followed up with is no better - so shame on both of them for encouraging a repeat of the 1968 Democratic convention in Chicago...

organized.  Due to El Rushbo's brilliant management and leadership skills, the three stooges---I mean the three reverends will be at the Dem convention.  The Reverend Jeremiah Wright, the Reverend Jessie Jackson and last but not least- the Reverend Al Sharpton.  And, for comic effect, cylipso louie Farrakan will make a cameo appearance without his machine guns.

I must ask you dems a question.  Where would you be without Rush Limbaugh?!?!!!

But when you say "Do these people really deserve your support"? it's like your putting the blame on the Clinton & Obama campaigns for letting Roseanne loose, so to speak.... The Democratic party can't control what people like Roseanne & Jeremiah Wright say, just like the Republican party can't make Coulter & Limbaugh shut up.....

BOTH parties have individuals & groups that give them a bad name.....

That would be a surefire way to get McCain elected to the White House.

If the dems thought they would gain anything by it, they'd do it in a heartbeat. You surely aren't claiming that the dems have the "moral" high ground on this subject. Let's face it, either side will whatever it takes to win, there is nothing to low for them to try. The only thing that restrains them is the potential backlash of a failed tactic.

That is not true of the GOP.  They don't do grassroots.  They are disciplined and follow orders.

To say nothing of the fact that the left hasn't had assholes like Coulter since the Black Panthers.  The difference between her types and them is that Republicans have money and know how to use it, and they don't get their hands dirty.
