As I was watching the BYU game last night and they had a chance to score and tie the game , it was almost midnight.  If they had tied the game would they have continued playing, or would they have forfeited as BYU does not play sports on Sunday?

but considering the game was being played in Utah, it was more like 10PM local time. It does raise an interesting question though, and I can only imagine the uproar from the outraged fans if BYU were to forfeit a game because they refused to play after midnight.

My reaction would depend on which team I had money on of course. I would be thrilled if I had money on the other team, and if I had bet on BYU it would just be one more reason for me to hate religion. lol

Trust me I'm familiar with Provo time.  I'm not that stupid.  The game was long and williams injury delayed it further. So it made me think what was more important the rivalry or the religion. For a sports fan like myself the rivalry is most important.   Considering the school policy of no sports on sunday due to their religious beliefs and the school is funded by the church I think they would have to forfeit.

Forgive me, but I started drinking tequila (strictly for luck of course) at the beginning of the early games, 11 AM central time where I am located. By midnight Mountain time, I was alreads sound asleep, my bad. lol

but like I said, anyone with money on BYU would have raised holy hell about it. I know I would.

Are you telling me that everybody inside that University is of a certain religion?
Ok let me  guess. They don't allow anybody else?
Just when I was about to accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior instead of mrnogood.
It never happens. It will never happen. Every time somebody or something kills it.

My answer: Religion is only important to the believer.
Sports are not important. It is entertaining. But it is very important to the ones that make a living of it.

I never trusted those signs outside churches that say "All Welcome". All welcome if you think like us or we will make you think like us.
This God is very dividing. No wonder so many war and deaths over him/her/it.

Faith is a life commitment. I was there..........and bye "there" I mean I was THERE. For a short time lol
