Did you get that, righties?  The US economy is powering the fucking world!!!

Indermit Gill, the World Bank's senior vice president and chief economist said:
"The U.S. economy, in particular, has shown impressive resilience.  Growth has remained buoyant in the teeth of the fiercest monetary policy tightening in four decades."
Ayhan Kose, the bank’s deputy chief economist, said that U.S. growth is "exceptional."

This is how thAssociated Press describes the World Bank:
"The World Bank is made up of 198 member nations and looks to reduce poverty and living standards in developing countries."

Whaaaat?!?!?!  It sounds like the job of the World Bank is to help shithole countries.  Hmmm, I wonder if Trump wins whether he'll leave the World Bank...right after he leaves NATO.

What is the reaction of righties to GOOD NEWS for America?  As usual:

…the world’s strongest superpower is the world’d strongest superpower?

🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

They are all rooting for us to fail, just so they can install a toxic felon as their Dear Leader.

The public just doesn't feel the economy is good. It is very good for 30-40% of the country. People on our side think if we just keep shouting that the economy is doing well, it will eventually make its way down to the peeps. It just doesnt work that way.
.
When interest rates are high, mortgages tough to get due to insane house prices, rents skyrocketing, gas prices elevated and everything they need for the home like food and energy has gone up dramatically is there any wonder why 60% of the public thinks we are in recession?
.
This is not a marketing problem that Joe has. It isnt the messaging. The facts on the ground for average Americans is that they are struggling mightily and telling them they are wrong will not help.

Young people have basically given up hope in ever being able to afford a home. Since young people are the Democrats base, this does not bode well for them.

I would like to ask, are we supposed to feel bad about the value of our homes going up?  Because I guarantee you, if these same people had bought a home a few years ago, they sure wouldn't be bitching.  Look, I know how hard it is to buy a home these days.  I bought my first home in 1983.  And I had to borrow money from my parents for the down payment.  Also, 40 miles away from where I worked.  But you have to start somewhere.  I live in Southern CA.  I used to own 5 homes and I cashed out on 4 of them with a nice profit.  I was a realtor after I got out of the corporate world (by choice).  And I cannot tell you how many clients I had that would try and time the market.  When u are ready to buy, u buy.  U may not get the first home u put an offer on.  U may not get the 50th home you put an offer on.  But, u keep trying.  Its difficult and depressing.  But what are homeowner supposed to do.  Give you discounts just cuz?  There is no easy answer.  I haven't heard the Republicans come up with an answer.  Have you?

Almost sounds like he’s GOP, not a Democrat!  At least not a 2020’s Democrat…

I have been a Republican since I could vote.  However, I went independent when that idiot Palin was chosen a a VP candidate.  Then the Tea Party took over who had zero interest in governing and that hasn't changed.  So, give me a good Republican candidate like Larry Hogan and I am there for him.  I am no fan of Joe Biden.  But he has gotten stuff done.  And I sure don't a guy like Trump running the country.  FWIW, I predict that Trump will make an excuse to get out of the debates.  Just my prediction.  Hope I am wrong.

What are you referring to here?

You may not agree with what Biden has accomplished.  There are things I don't agree with.

Did Robbie get a taste of a red pill? After your post the other day about stopping the war in Ukraine (which caused icky to fill his socks with a genuine shit fit) I’m beginning to wonder.  💊 Was it just the tip?

You genuinely believe that crap don’t ya ?

Oh wait 🥶 blue gooo

The right loves America and hates what your side is doing to it!

That icky is the gods honest truth. You might vaguely remember what that is? Think back to before you were infected with TDS.

The article didn’t mention conservative domestic politics at all. But BigPapasan posted a GIF. Proof enough for Nicky.

Basically what happened is Covid caused use of traditional offices to crater, dropping occupancy and rental rates. Combine that with high interest rates that made mortgages much more expensive and you have nuclear winter for the commercial real estate business.
