level wastes, misallocates, abuses tax revenue. If there is a ballot initiative asking to increase taxes, I don't care if the spokesperson is Mother Teresa reincarnated, I'm voting NO. There is close to $75B yearly in Medicare fraud. The IRS fails to collect over $300B per year as a result of fraud, or the inability to collect as a result of the underground economy. I can give multiple examples at the local and state level, but until government(s) learn to be more efficient and effective with the money they currently get, they ain't getting any more from me.

Re the stimulus. How much was that again? Something like $830B. And Obama promised more than once that unemployment will NOT exceed 8% if the stimulus was approved. Did cash for clunkers work? Did the mortgage refinance program work? Has 99 weeks of unemployment insurance work?

You see the waste and you do get desensitized by it.

ooooh, I just discovered another amazing news story. There's this non-profit organization called the Ad Council. They get paid with tax payer dollars to do public service announcements all the time. The horror!
