Did your "news" source forget to include that Fox News settled a lawsuit for $787 M for defaming Dominion and repeatedly falsely reporting that the 2020 election was stolen? Or maybe you were just repeating a MAGA line of propaganda.

Re: Fox News is not news.
Fox News is Republican Party propaganda. Just as CNN and MSNBC is Democrat Party propaganda. News is when someone reports the important things going on. These outlets report the unimportant things that are going on and then tell you to be mad about it or how you should feel about it.
Real news is now reported to the wealthy and at a premium so they get a sort of insider information of current events so they have an informational leg up on the public.
There are some news outlets that are still trustworthy, but they’re more for professionals who work in particular fields. The Hill and Wall Street Journal used to be like this, but they’ve gone to hell. You can still find good stuff in Foreign Policy magazine or other specialty publications like that.
X is a good source of info now but you have to be smart and block the endless propaganda which is never ending.
There’s so many news sources who have been sued for getting things so incredibly wrong. Gawker went out of business. CNN had to pay out big for lying about some young people from Covington. MSNBC is getting sold off for lying about a doctor. CBS is getting sued by Trump. These things just keep happening, and it would seem to me that if they just went back to reporting the news they could shield themselves from lawsuits. But they don’t and they continue to lose the public’s trust, and eventually they’ll all be out of business.
How many years does NBC, ABC and CBS have left? It won’t be long before they get out of the news business completely.
