I’m planning to visit Philly more often and would love some local insights! Any recommendations on the best areas to stay? Also, what are your favorite spots for dinner and fun activities for extended dates? Looking forward to exploring more of what Philly has to offer!
Depends on what you like to do but there’s tons of cool museums downtown area and also a seaport warship museum near the waterfront. Af far as nightlife center city is where you wanna be to bar hop. Nice drinks anywhere you go
OMG - Center City Philly has lot's of great restaurants and upscale bars. I suggest you stay around rittnehouse Square (maybe some place like the Palomar Hotel (17th and Walnut) - nice boutique hotel virtully on the the square. There are at elast 15 or 20 terrific, fun, upscale bars and restauarnts on or neat the Square. Think also about the Phila Art Museum and Barnes Foundation (incredible collection of impressionist art) - all on the Parkway. You can stay at the Logan on th Parkway and easily walk to these. Then there is the historic area aroound 5th and Chestnut (hotel Monaco and Omni) - Constitution center, Liberty Bell, Independence Hall +++. Pleanty of restaurants in Old City (which is essentially where you will be).
