Wine??

I am seeing my first provider tommorrow night(total newb) and wanted to get some advice on a couple things.  #1, I am planning on bringing a bottle of wine to her hotel room and am unsure whether I should just walk straight in the place with it or hide it, like in a backpack or something?  #2, If any of you hobbyists or providers are experienced wine drinkers, what wine would you suggest?  She says she likes French wine, but I know jack shit about brands and their quality.  Any and all advice is appreciated.

If at all possible; do keep wine or any other gift(s) you may bring inconspicuous. A lady receiving a gentleman caller bearing a gift is in itself not out of the ordinary. It is when three or more gentlemen are seen in an eight hour period at the same door bearing gifts that eyebrows are raised.

There's nothing wrong with walking through a hotel lobby with a bottle of wine. (Most wine shops sell gift bags that run from $1 to $6). You didn't say whether her preference was white, red, or rose. I think you would be safe if you want to spend less than $20 on a dry style Vouvray (white), or a dry style Alsatian Riesling(also white). Go to a shop that specializes in wine with a knowledgeable proprietor. Make sure you serve the wine fairly well chilled, and by all means, bring real glasses, not cups, or plastic. If you click with the provider, and you are going to see her again, ask her after your session, if she has a personal favorite wine to bring next time. (Warning on this, she may say "Salon Vintage Champagne" (about $225 per bottle), or Chateau Petrus year 2000 (about $2000 a bottle). I'm always amused by provider ads that say they "Love Cristal Rose Champagne" ($250 a bottle). Most guys don't want to spend more on the wine than the session! LOL  Good luck! I taught a wine class in a past life. How do you guys think "Smelly" got such a fine bouquet?  ROTFLMAO     Good Luck!

Wow, three or more in an 8 hour period, I must be lazy.

My ATF however would emphatically retort; YES!

may be a sign of "assembly line encounters."  I can assure you, Misty Bay is not lazy!

Ferrari-Carano Chardonney is a great wine.
