I have a question about screening.
Provider asks for employment. I am kind of scare since I don't want my company to know. Although provider says they only call to see if you work there. How can I know what they will say?
I heard RS2K, but RS2K will do employment check.
Can somebody give any suggestion about this?
Can RS2K member tell me how RS2K to check about employment?
Any comments are welcomed!!!
Thanks.

that someone may be calling to verify employment: bank, country club, Publisher's Clearinghouse, whatever.

For him to tell whoever answers the phone that a person from a manicure shop or hair stylist will be calling to confirm an appointment.  That way he can take many such calls over a period of time without raising suspicion.  The only requirements is that he has worked things out before hand with the provider on what to say and he shows up to work with manicured nails or a styleshop haircut.
Over time saying that a country clubs or other organization is calling will raise suspicion, especially if it is always women calling.  Also, how many loans or country club memberships can a person get verified for over the course of a year? .  That situation will not exist with calls from a hair style shop or manicure shop.  The only thing that he needs to insure is that a shop in some location where his co-workers do not frequent is mentioned if anyone asks.

YOu should get to the point where you only see 3-4 providers that know you. That way you don't have to worry about verification over and over again.

By trial and error, I've found that posing as someone from a mortgage company is good. I get the verification that I need, and usually the secretary or Human Resource person doesn't ask you (the client) questions about the supposed mortgage, since loans are very personal.

Clients used to tell me that if I posed as a real estate agent, they got pestered with questions about whether they were buying a new house or moving out of town, so I stopped doing that, LOL.
