I figure if anyone would have an answer to this, y'all would. Anyway, a good friend of mine wants to get started as a male provider (he's as gay as the day is long, if that's relevant), but I have no idea how he'd go about it. Are there equivalents to sites like TER, Eros, P411, etc. for the LGBTQ community? I don't recall ever having seen any gay category listings. I would imagine that there has to be something out there, right?
but I don't know if you'll find much luck here. Most of these guys get all squeamish if you even bring up the MFM topic (omg, what if my peepee touches his peepee? eeew)...
I did get quite a few hits when I googled "male escort service" (mostly list "straight men for women") and "gay male escort services.
I have no idea if any of the sites are reputable or real.
I'm getting roughly the same results when I search for resources. My guess would be that it's more underground (closeted clients, perhaps?). Sigh. I'll keep searching! London sent me a link as well so hopefully I'll be able to gather enough info at some point.
Whenever you log-in to Date-Check you see a list of providers who are online. Well, a couple of months ago I saw an unusual Provider name (it was definitely a male name) I clicked on it out of curiosity and I saw the profile of an African American gentleman who was a gay provider. I think his profile may have been mislabelled or somehow ended up under the "female escort" category by mistake? I think (though I didn't confirm it) that Date-Check may have a "male escort" category? Maybe your friend can look into that? Good luck.
I know for my area gay men are banking in the hobby...always have been, but other than this bar called Oz and the regular phone book ads, never seen them use a board to advertise on. Tell your friend to try the yellow pages if you guys have an escort section, and start there. He can call around to some agencies and maybe research them, how much they take, how much the guys make on average, and he can go Indy after he gets the business.
Armand Chase, or any of the other well known guys who escort (not sure if Armand is Gay or Bi) but they might know more about where to advertise. Male escorts don't do too well in certain areas, but LA, D.C. NYC, Chicago, all the bigger cities tend to have a great market for both gay and bi men.
Hahaha we actually discussed the possibility of offering duos, but then I realized that if we happened to make eye contact we would both start laughing.
My BFF before she died was a TS Provider that did really well in Atlanta! I dunno if you have vip access here, but start cross referencing some of the reviews here...you'll see exactly what I mean
a high amount of the 'gay' male escorts (depending on his location) are on BP. They must do well there but I don't know for sure. Depending on how serious he takes this and the brand he creates for himself depends on where he will advertise. I would try Eros, tho not sure that is a good venue (again, depends on his location).
I know of a few sites but they are strictly for straight men to advertise.
