Re:Avoiding STD's, ie herpes?

I realize the providers are practicing safe sex.  But, how does one prevent herpes?  I have read it can be passed without there being any symptoms present and visible to clue you in?  I don't want to bring anything special home with me and wonder what others do for safety?  A condom only covers so much skin so what's the real deal with this issue?

The risk of catching something can never be reduced to zero and herpes is common. You need to decide if the rewards of the hobby out weigh the cost of a good divorce attorney . Happened to a guy I know and she got everything even his golf clubs. Now that’s just wrong

I researched this very question, the only way I THINK is sex is just to have a cbj, no vaginal sex.Somebody tell me if this is correct. I have talked to several providers (that gave bj but with no condom)they actually believed that this was safe for them.

Of course everything has a risk/reward ratio.  What I'm asking is... What's the real story with herpes.  If it can be passed so easily without tell tale signs, how do brothels manage this?  Does not seem to me that a brothel would provide any safety over an escort.  Yet, I have not heard of brothels having upset customers returning home with STD's for their wives etc.
Anyone have any actual data or medical knowledge?

No actual data, but I have been to 6 brothels in NV and they all do the same thing. When you go back to negotiate with your lady and come up with an agreeable price, they do a spot check with a desk lamp like doctor's exam. They check/feel for lumps and discoloration (like in fluids like pre-cum).

Providers don't do that.

That's not GFE, that's wife-E.

Not all providers practice sex sex. Many are GFE and give bbbj and let you cum in their mouth! Before they spit it out, some cum can drip down their throat or get into cuts in the gums, etc. Oral sex can give either of you herpes, gon. or hpv.

most of us see several providers so how wuld you know which one gave it to you? It can takes months to show up. Places like Julie's NYC were known for giving clients STD's but how can you prove it.

Herpes can be spread from any skin to skin contact, even if no symptoms are present.  You may have a condom on, but any other exposed skin (balls in particular), that contact her, can be exposed.  Uncovered oral is NOT safe for EITHER participant.  From my readings on the subject, it is easier by far to get Herpes that HIV.  Also, either party may have it, and have NO symptoms, but still be able to spread it.  The 'real deal' is that if you want to be sure not to bring it home, being involved in the hobby is not for you.    At the very least, wash with soap and water IMMEDIATELY after your session.  This may help, but there is no guarantee.
