P411 & Not Giving Your Real Name

Hi all... never seen a provider and still thinking about the best way to break into the hobby while protecting my identity as much as possible.

I've seen a number of posts where guys say that they regularly use a "fake name" or a "hobby name" with providers and never give out their real information.  I'm not sure I understand how that works.  Particularly for newbies without references.  Am I wrong or is there a way around that?

My understanding is that if I join P411... providers will only see my P411 username... which presumably includes my real first name (I can't think of a way to fake that if P411 is going to verify me via my employer).  P411 also requires the first letter of the city you were born in & the last 4 digits on an ID that you're supposed to carry with you (is it necessary to give real information here?  Do providers check this stuff when you see them?  And if a provider is checking your ID, they're presumably seeing your last name, right?)  But I also understand that P411 does NOT give out your last name.  Do you have to give your last name to P411 during the verification process?

Overall, I think I'm comfortable with giving P411 my real first name... and letting them verify me via my employer knowing that that employer info won't be passed on to providers.  Then I'm comfortable giving my P411 to providers and trying to find a few ladies who will see me without any additional references or information.  Is that even plausible?  Is there another way around this that I can get verified with P411 and take on a "hobby name?"

is it to us? You asked if there was any way around this, and there is. Go see some fly by night BP girl who does not care about her safety, then use her as a ref for some quality lady and see if she accepts it lol. I sure as hell would not. If you are new, you have to see providers who are willing to risk their lives on you for a few bucks, and that certainly limits the type of provider you are going to be able to see.

Sites like P411 put a barrier between your personal info. and the providers...that's WHY you can't provide fake names or what is the point? I can assure you Gina, wants nothing to do with your info and they are not even based in the U.S. which makes it all the more secure. She knows what she is doing.

I agree. The purpose of P411 is to be verified so why would you attempt to use a fake name to be verified?
If they have to contact your employer to verify you P411 needs your first and last name.
If you are concerned with giving your info out then see providers who do not screen or ask for any info but just like London said good luck on getting a reputable provider to accept those references.
Keep in mind even if you are verified through P411 some providers will still want additional info.
If you do become a member of P411 you can search that site for newbie friendly providers in your area.
Some guys say they give fake names or hobby names that is their right if they want to do this and it is also the right of the provider to decline an appt if she feels the gent cannot be verified or she is not comfortable.
You will have to make the decision if you want to sign up for P411 but don't think that a P411 membership with no references listed will be okay for every provider because it will not.

would let you get around using the real name?

But,if they do it is even more of a reason to ask for additional info.
I am a member of both sites but P411 is used a lot more than Date-Check in my area.
If you are being verified and have no references I do not understand why trying to get around using your name?

I wasn't trying to get around anything..You misinterpreted my comments. I was just objectively trying to understand which one operates how... I am on neither of them. I've plenty of references.

I understood I did not mean "you" literally I just meant you in the general sense which applies to the gents who are trying to get around it.Sorry if I was not more clear.

an email from a reviewed provider to get on there, so I am not sure what they do in the case of no references. I know with p411, not just anyone is let on there. Jade, you are correct in that just a membership on any screening site is not enough for some..myself included. If a guy has no refs, I want to be the one screening his employment, not a third party.

Dear Ms. Rayne:
In your ever growing arsenal of tools for verification, how do you use the verification sites in conjunction with other information to confirm if a potential client passes muster? Also what would be the strengths and weaknesses of each site and how would that potentially create issues for you within the verification process?

so should the girls be putting theyre real name too during registration for t e r?

TER is a review site where you can use any name to register. For a provider to be on P411 she registers using her working name.A gent signing up for P411 would need to use his real info.

RS2K however, does require providers provide real name and I think maybe a photo copy of their ID.

...view that you are merely asking questions from a position of 'you don't know what you don't know. I'm not sure the others did that.

The purpose of P411 is so you can be verified by giving your information out one time to one place.  Providers that are on P411 have also been verified. Giving your info to P411 is secure. Your P411 info being given to P411 ladies is secure. There shouldn't be any problems since you are dealing with P411. Search on P411 for "newbie friendly" providers. They will likely see you without references from other providers but will want some info on you. Remember, they are P411 verified too so no worries. Once you have seen a few use them as references and you likely won't have to give out your info any more and you will have the verification of P411 behind you.

Many guys say they don't give out any info. Chances are they did at some point and once they had references they didn't have to anymore. They may have even had a provider take a chance on them and it worked out and they got references from there.

Newbies have to give info to get started unless you want to take a chance on non-reviewed, unverified providers which is not recommended.

Still use TER to research the providers from P411 that you are interested in. A small expense that does pay off is getting the TER VIP membership so you can completely research any provider you find that gets your attention.

As you progress you may find a provider that is not a P411 provider. No problem. Still do your research. Does she have reviews? Do they indicate she is on the up & up? Does she offer what you are looking for? Have her reviewers reviewed a lot of providers. All of this gives you reasonable assurance that she is legit and you'll be OK setting up an appointment with her.

The whole thing is a process. It takes time.

If your not averse to using an agency that is another way you can keep your info in one place. They will screen you and you will be in with them. See all of the providers they have any time.
You need to research the agency to see that they are reputable and reliable. You can find that info here on TER as well.

Hope that helps.

Thought I'd add I started with an agency. Some of the agency providers later became independents. I saw them as independents since they knew me no info was needed. They provided me with references to other providers. I now only give my name and a phone number and my references and I'm good to go.

Thanks for your response. Super helpful. A couple of follow up questions. I assume that I'd be giving P411 my LAST name to verify... But my understanding is that P411 only gives a first name to providers--not the last name. Is that correct?  In my mind, that's an advantage over RS2K since I'd rather not give my last name to providers. And then, what "additional information" do providers typically ask for after getting contacted by a P411 user?  I'm mostly wondering if I'll be able to find a reputable provider who won't require me to give up my last name, provided I'm approved on P411. Thanks!

stuff that is number related. I think it is your first name and Middle or Last name initial then 4 numbers off any piece of ID in your wallet. You usually are asked for that piece of number info such as a library card, when you arrive so the provider can tell you are the one using the profile, but I never did that. Once you are in the door, I am busted or dead anyway, so I am not going to check an ID.

Additional info. can mean that without references and even with a p411, that the provider will still require your full name. Some accept an account with no refs, and some don't. Just look for the Newbie friendly ones, and I think you will be ok. Once you see one provider, she will give you an "Okay" on your profile, and from there it's all good.
