Any providers in the NYC area that would be willing to provide an STD test and I would do the same ? Been out of the game for a while and am super paranoid about these things.

If you are only interested in covered services (condom covered penetration, front and/or rear; CBJ), many think that the risks of getting an STD are small. Kissing is another matter. (There is no such thing as a mouth-condom. ... NOTE TO SELF: Invent a mouth-condom.)

If you are willing to PAY for the testing, I am confident that many would agree to get tested. ("Free testing! Sounds good to me!") The PROBLEM is how to confirm that the person getting tested is the person you are meeting with. (That's been a problem in the Porn Industry in the past: Actor-A sends a friend or pays someone to go to the testing center and give a blood sample but use the name or credentials of Actor-A. Tests come back clean but Actor-A performs in the scenes!) Another aspect of agreeing to get tested is the location of a testing center. If your preferred hostess has to travel a few hours back and forth to get to the closest testing location, you should offer to give her something extra. In a big city, a hospital or commercial testing lab is usually fairly convenient ... but still a chunk of time to get there (and time = $).

You COULD suggest that you meet in person and go to the testing center together. That way, you both know that the test results are not faked (using a stand-in). (Is that a public "date" = $ ?) Turnaround time for many tests is a few hours (at a 24/7 lab) but some tests take longer, overnight or even more (to grow cultures or do PCR). Anybody know how long a full STD panel should take these days?

There used to be some ANONYMOUS STD testing locations but I don't know if they still exist. It might depend on your location ("Porn Valley" versus "Vatican City"). You get an anonymous ID number and some sort of code (or PIN?) to use when requesting or retrieving test results. Nowadays, I think most people go to any regular testing lab where you show your insurance card or pay cash. I think that some Planned Parenthood offices offer blood testing services and then you select which tests you want.

A good amount of providers regardless if they do bb do get tested regularly. as for results all full panel can take 24-48 hours for results to get back. You can go to any minute clinics and they do provide it. I beleive most insurances cover the charge as its away to help protect spreading STDs. If you asked to go together to get tested they may ask for that time to be included.
