How can any review found in TER be "false"?  The very first page you go to when you enter http://www.theeroticreview.com says the following loud and clear:

"This site is purely for entertainment purposes. .......We imply nothing else..........The writing contained in this site is in no manner intended to depict or describe, in a patently offensive way, sexual conduct specifically defined by the applicable state law. ....... We are not associated with anybody reviewed on this site. We do not receive any financial recompense from the ladies reviewed. These ladies are professionals, any money paid to them is for time and companionship only. Anything else that occurs is a matter of choice between consenting adults. Prostitution is illegal. It is illegal to sell or buy sexual services. You can give it away for free, but you can't sell it. Therefore, everything contained here is FICTION and is for your entertainment and amusement only.

So....complaining about "false" reviews...isn't that like going to the "Fiction" section of the library and yelling, "Hey, none of these stories are true!"????????

TER is blameless.  They told you at the very start of your TER experience.

Last week a reliable, fellow hobbyist told me that TER insisted that he raise the score on one of the most popular providers in town before they would agree to post his review!!

TER promotes false, inflated reviews and practices censorship, and I hate that!

I guess it's that time again: I will cancel my VIP for a while as a protest. The reason I most frequently terminate is because of TER's practices.  They are their own worst enemy.

So there's no point in writing a review because TER can change it anyway?  Seriously.. what's the point if they're going to tell you to change your score?  I don't understand how doing that is fair, I mean, they weren't there, they don't know what the score should be!  Even if a girl does enough of the things that EARN a higher score, that doesn't necessarily mean she should GET a higher score.. or does it?  Anyone??

I just asked a similiar question on the Newbie Board.

Just like Paul1991, who commented on Sophies being so willing to please, and her great BBBJ, in his review of her...and now he's treading water, succumbing to white knight pressure....saying he "clicked the wrong box"...when, instead, he wrote about it in the narrative....no box checking, at all...lol..

Such transparent nonsense.

This is the second recent reviewer to compliment Sophies BBBJs...and the second one to retract his claim, make a public "mea culpa"...and change the review.

You could understand one guy making a mistake like that, maybe....but TWO recent reviewers..and BOTH mistook a CBJ for a BBBJ....what gives?

I seldom mistake a CBJ for a BBBJ...seems like Sophie does offer this treat to some of her friends...maybe economic hardships have necessitated some selective menu expansion for our Sophie...nothing wrong with that.

But after delivering the BBBJs, she should have advised the Knights to keep it UTR...instead of forcing these mea culpas...altering honest reviews...and causing this mayhem.

And when we point out the bullshit of it all...white knights, shills, and the related calvary charge...attack the people pointing out these facts...and even influence moderators to try to get them banned.

Better than any TV soap opera.  ;)

You would think they would be smart enough to know that if the guys lose faith in the review system, their business will fold.

That is a first I have heard, they usualy knock them down without asking, I am surprised they asked to mark it up.  That makes absolutely no sense at all.

That certain providers are in tight with TER and can get reviews they dislike removed or changed.

encouraging the very thing that Dave is being accused of by other providers?  Goes to show that every industry is dog-eat-dog and not everyone works together.  Always a bosses/teachers pet involved somewhere.

At least that's what I have been hearing now and then almost since I first got here.

THere are lots of things about TER that I hate but if it didn't exist at all there would be a lot less intel available for finding new ladies.

provided me with the information.  Although I'd LOVE to reveal the name of the provider, doing so would probably give away the identity of the hobbyist.
BTW, the review was not a bad one - it was simply a little below par for this supposed blue chip provider. One has to wonder why TER is so intent on protecting certain favorite providers from an occasional mediocre review.  As I've written before, everyone can have an off day. Babe Ruth didn't hit a home run in every game; Kirby Puckett sometimes went hitless.  I guess TER just likes to maintain some type of Fantasy Land for providers and hobbyists.  Heck!  Here I've been critical of TER - maybe I owe them my thanks!  Not!

While I can sympathize with your frustration of reviews not getting approved (before I was a mod, I submitted several reviews, 9 were approved, 26 were denied... Mine were usually denied for being TOO graphic, lol!)

However, it's unlikely that the company in Amsterdam that ACTUALLY APPROVES the reviews gives a flying fuck about protecting a particular providers score. the reality of it is there's a simple scoring system for acts preformed in the "juicy details" and approximated numerical values applied...

There's a half a million reviews on TER and damn near that many in the unaproved cache for any number of reasons, don't think so small with yourself in the center of your tiny universe when you attempt to think these things through...
