Since everyone has been asking about security at hotels lately I thought I would compose a list of hotels on the Strip that do and don't have security at elevators and also if they are accomadatng to guest.  I truly hope this helps and limits the amount of hotel postings.

Four Seasons- Security at the elevators after 6pm, sometimes they are always there, but very nice.

The Hotel- No Security

Mandalay Bay- No Security

The Luxor- No Security but elevator requires a key to access a floor.

The Excaliber- Security and sometimes very rude.

The Tropicana- No Security

Hooters- No Security

The MGM- No Security at the main elevators

The Mansions at the MGM- Key Entry only

New York New York- No Security but some towers require a key to access a floor.

Monte Carlo- No Security

The Bellagio- Security but very nice

The Aladdin- No Security to my knowledge but maybe after they renovated.

The Paris- No Security

Bally's- No Security

The Westin- No Security

The Platinum- No Security

Ceasers Palace- Security at some towers but usually nice.

Barbary Coast- Stay away, they take pictures and will chase you to get one, not kiding.

Imperial Palace- No Security

Harrahs- Security and very rude and ask for ID's however there is a secret back way up that is hd to find but by passes security.

The Flamingo- No Security

The Mirage- Security after 9pm I believe but always sweet.

T.I.- Sometimes they have Security and other times not.

The Sahara- No Security

The Startosphere- No Security

The Wynn- Security after 9pm but usually no problem.

The Palms- Security all the time.  Sometimes they are accoadating and nice, other times rude and questionable.

The Rio- No Security for the most part but sometimes they do, usually nice but can be judgemental so best to meet downstairs.

The Orleans- Security but nice.

The Gold Coast- No Security to my knowledge.

Venetian- Security after 9pm on the 2nd story but requires key to enter and always security on main level.

Circus Circus- No Security

Frontier- No Security

Riviera- Security at some towers but usually nice.

Sun Coast- No Security

South Point- Security but never a problem

GVR- No Security

Golden Nugget- Security after 9pm but sweet

Wild Wild West- No Security except patoling the parking lots which i how you enter the room.

Downtown hotels excluding the Golden Nugget I do not visit, so have no knowledge about and same for most casinos outside Las Vegas city limits.

So there it is.  I hope this helps.

Thanks, Tasha.  To add to this, When attending the NAB convention, my company always books us into the Golden Nugget.  Security is polite and you have to show a room key to get access to the elevators.

unless they've changed it in the last year, the four seasons also has a very discreet set of elevators off the MB casino.  They're accessed through a locked door with the hotel keycard.  You do have to meet the provider in MB, but there's no security, no walk through a lobby, no front desk, no nothin'; plus it feels kind of exclusive (and most providers like the hotel).  Again, it may have changed with their remodeling; and yes i do know about surveillance cameras...

That is the most detailed list I have seen in a long time!  Thanks Tasha for taking the time to give us the inside scoop.

Also:
Venetian - 10th floor to bypass security - but sometimes they might be there?
Hilton - No security
Terrible's - No security

The Renaissance Las Vegas: no security
Golden Nugget: security in evening, no problems

Also, Tasha, when I stayed at the Gold Coast they DID have security- but this was in January 2004.

Palace Station - No Security
Sunset Station - No Security
Fiesta Henderson - No Security
Sams Town - No Security

I have seen visiting girls doing incall at the above 4 hotels and had no problems getting to the rooms on my own.

TheHotel has random security, most often after 9-10pm.

Hard Rock is missing from the list and yes, they do have sec.

Apart from the major players (The Strip), there are some very nice, clean and inexpensive places off the Strip that are worth your consideration.

Wild Wild West - No Security
Motel 6 - No Security
Budget Suites (Tropicana West) - No Security...Not sure about the other locations though.

You're welcome in advance. =)

But seriously, is security a big problem?  So you need to pass them.  I have never had the slightest of problem or weird looks from them.  Of course my experience is nothing compared to the girls, but is it that big a problem that guys need to care that much?  Just curious if there are a lot of horror stories or something.

... than get mugged on an elevator while I'm carrying bankroll, or have people breaking into my hotel room.

Aside from the bad apple casinos, it's really not a problem, in my opinion.

Forgive me for asking, but wouldn't it be safer and more comfortable to meet the lady downstairs and accompany her up to the room? It would be the right thing to do in my opinion.

It's always seem the "gentleman" thing to do to me to meet them and bring them up.  While I am single,
I could see some married men might not want to be seen walking around with an escort.

There are cameras everywhere, and if a nosy PI wants to get their hands on tapes, they probably can.

There's no privacy in Vegas casinos, really- just the anonymity of being in the crowd. If you don't draw attention to yourself (and being with a gorgeous woman isn't THAT much attention), you'll be fine.

I made the post because guys have made posts every day almost asking about security at this hotel and that hotel.  I figure this could be a nice reference more or less, however if security is at all suspcious of something they will check cameras and maybe even wait outside the room.  Had that one happen once to lol.  But, for the most part as long as the provider isn't dressed to provocatively then there are usually no problems what so ever.  I was sterotyped once at the Rio because the gentlemen called downstairs to tell security I was coming, and security assumed I was a provider and wouldn't allow me to go up.  I threw a fit and began asking him who he was to tell me what I do.  How can he work at a place of business and treat people like that.  I asked for the manager and was later comped a room because of his stupidity.  LMAO  It's all about how your carry yourself and conduct things.

It's even easy for a "nosy PI" to get look at tapes/hard drives.  I don't imagine security wants to give away to many secrets of their tricks/setup.

I know security is very often asked about and Tasha's list is great for answering those frequent questions.  Unfortunately, its only good for those who bother to search for it.  Personally, I will not go directly to a room on a first date.  Not just because of security, but more my own peace of mind.  And I have never had a problem or lost a client because of it.  As mentioned several times in this thread, there is no such things as anonymity in Vegas.  However, discretion is possible.  There are many various ways to meet a lady downstairs and pass her a key or have her follow at a distance, etc.

Thanks for the list kiddo......Looks like you put a lot of thought in it. Good job!

What's the reason for worrying about security?  If you're looking for anonymity, it doesn't exist.  You will be under surveillance hundreds of times a day.  Your hotel room probably has cameras monitoring the hallways to make sure things are OK.  If someone really wanted to capture enough circumstantial evidence that you're seeing a provider, it can happen.  The only thing you can count on is discretion.  Security does not really care that you have guests coming up to your room or you escort a lady with you to your room, not unless one of you are banned from the property or your party is causing problems.  There's enough illicit activities happening in Vegas that they only make a minor effort to stem the tide (sorta like the war on drugs, doesn't really make enough of a dent in the market) and as long as you don't cause a scene, there's no reason for you and your lady to stick out from the crowd.

If you need to hide your activities from others in the same hotel, you're probably better off booking a second room somewhere else where they won't wander by.  There's a tiny percentage of escorts who provide incall services although you have a much better selection when you get a room and have lots of outcall only providers to choose from as well.  You're already paying a fair premium to have fun in this town, an extra room isn't going to break the bank, is it?  If it is, I'd say you're better off not spending any money on providers and saving it for back home.

Quzi,is right, just have your fun and don't fret

Thanks Tasha that helps SO MUCH thanks for always looking out for everyone!!!

Hi folks,
I just got back from staying at the Wynn, it's probably the very best hotel in LV I have experienced. But I do have to tell you security is pretty tight, now. They are asking for everyone's key card before you go into elevator.

The Bellagio seems a bit less security. It's also fantastic.
But if you just want a fling and no hassle time I suggest going to the Flamingo or another older hotel. Usually they do not have the budget for security.

Ceaser's Palace is more laid back altough sometimes they do ask for your room key.

Enjoy!
