but honestly, these should be the least of your worries unless you are planning on picking up a street walker from a back alley. Other than that they have security at hotels to keep those people from harming others. Also, you may see some walking arund near Fremont Street but I would say they aren't to active in the hotel itself, at least not in my experience. The Nuggest is a very nice hotel, you should be fine.
I saw the post about security and seemed like it was ok, but what about LE, thugs, or crackheads?

The Nugget is completely safe as is Freemont Street. Just don't wander onto the back streets.

I was there last week and it was great and the new pool is fine. Yes security is around but they are vedry friendly and not a issue.
I've stayed at the Nuggett many times ans never had a problem. Once I had a provider that was stopped by security at the elevators and they just wanted me to come down and escort(no pun intended) the ladies up to my room. Usually I prefer to meet in the casino for a drink first anyway.As for Fremont St. I feel as safe there as the Strip. I especially like not having to run a gauntlet of people passing out "escort cards" every 50 ft.
When I was there in January, there were several hookers at one of the bars in the wee hours of the morning. I thought I had stumbled into Binnion's. I've never had a problem at any of the downtown casino/hotels. I'm surprised how many providers won't do an outcall to a downtown hotel/casino. It's their loss, as I am very generous, and stay downtown, because the gambling atmosphere is far superior to the strip, and not because I am cheap.
I've never had any problems booking quality providers to meet me at the GN. However I have'nt met ALL the wonderful Las Vegas ladies...yet. Are there a significant number of ladies that won't go to the GN?
Many of us may even have room keys to get up to your suite passed the security (I do!)so you don't have the embarrassment or otherwise in coming down to meet us at the bar, casino, or elevators. Just in case you need to be extra-discreet!
