So I am tempted to finally get my butt to the Green Door end of June.  I will be coming to Vegas and meeting with a few providers, as is tradition... but am a little out of comfort zone and dont know what to expect with the Green Door.

Is it mandatory a bring a lady with me?  What goes on in there?  Would anyone be interesting in going?

...thus I can give you the low down (of course Ive given this info a number of times but here goes again)

Single guys entry somewhere in the vicinity if $100
Couples around $80 for couple.
Single ladies no charge  

20,000 sq ft .. different themed rooms, some of which anyone can enter, some areas are couples only.

Mostly dead during the week.  
Best evening to visit is Friday
Best time is after 11pm and before 3am

If anything is going to happen that week its going to be Friday night.
Saturdays are hit or miss.

If you go anytime outside of the Friday 11-3 zone its basically a half - dozen single guys wandering aimlessly from room to room waiting for something to happen.  
..and there's no refund if there's nothing going on ( remember there's no licenses for swingers clubs in vegas.. all clubs skirt the issue by being "health" or "social" clubs,, GD  is a "health club" thats why they have a jacuzzi and a couple of exercise machines stashed in a mostly unseen corner downstairs :-P.. so technically you're there to socialize and for health.. thus no refunds if you dont see any sex!)

Now on Fridays when it's a good night there will be couples playing.. but its mostly in the couples only area. If you go as a single male you will be able to watch from behind a screen or roped off area... but you need to be invited by a couple to go in and play with them.  The chances of this actually happening? like playing the lottery.

Even if you go in as a couple .. chances are that other couples will be down to soft swap.. that means touching of the other couple but not sex.
Most couples that go there are more interested in girl on girl action or are exhibitionists but not really swingers.

every once in a blue moon something really crazy will happen like a single girl who comes in and gangbangs every guy in the place.. when that happens its an all out cock fest with guys scrambling to get their cocks as close to the girl as possible!
Its very rare.. it does happen... it usually ends up with security having to "rescue" the poor girl.

I don't want to sound like I'm ragging on them because I do love the GD-  it has a special place in my heart but mostly because the staff are dear friends and good people.  But Ive been going there for many years and I know what it is/how it works and I accept it for what it is...but in all honesty when I go there its to hang out back with the staff and order pizzas and hear their funny stories of what crazy things happened since my last visit.

But as a provider on a forum with you asking about the place - I'm going to give you the honest, no frills run down of what it is really like.

Would I go there as a single guy? NO.
Would I go as a couple? Yes I have and do.. but with NO expectation of anything happening
remember its a tourist trap.. and most couples are there to WATCH or BE WATCHED,

If I wanted to swing I'd go to one of the private parties around town.

Green Door has a sexy atmosphere, dark seductive ambiance- the location is close to the strip.
I have been quite lucky finding couples to swing with -but not every time!
Most of the couples that I have met at the Green Door were visiting
from out of town, new to the swinging scene, curious,  
and usually On Friday and Saturday nights.
There are private areas to avoid the voyeurs- it doesn't bother me, but most of my dates prefer to go to the couples only area or to the rooms where the single guys can watch, but we can't see them (kind of a shaded screen ) It depends if you are a voyeur or an exhibitionist - or both  

A memorable experience I had there was with a Pro-Domme , and her husband- they were visiting from several states away- not new to the scene - We were in a semi private room, the one with the swing over the bed -  'viewing' available to anyone wanting to watch us, (not in couples only area) they could watch us, but we could not them.

We made our own fun with each other but as far as what we were looking for they didn't offer.  The place was very dark and of course many single men roaming around. They did offer lots of places to play .

Some of the "private house" parties ARE open for new "members" (such as red rooster or couples oasis)
You will need to check their websites to see how they operate and how to get admitted (red rooster is pretty much open door policy just pay a membership at front desk, couples oasis requires a very simple phone interview for you and your partner before they will give you the address)

There are other parties around which are open policy.
