There were a couple of 90-day wonders a few years ago that came to work as roommates for the first time.  They were set up at an incall in OC near the District shopping center. The night they arrived, they walked to a nearby Lucille's Smokehouse and had Amercian BBQ for the first time.  For the next 90 days, dinner on their day off was there every week.  I even joined them a few times (we took turns paying).  They even asked the booker to change their work hours to 9-9 so they could get there more often after their last customer and before the restaurant closed.  No dice from the booker.

I enjoyed that; thanks for sharing.  However, I think as a true culinary experiment, he should have gone with a more traditional Memphis or Texas BBQ sauce, rather than some frou-frou fruity glaze.  What's up with that?
