Promoting/shilling has a thin line, but in the end, we're here to discuss kgirls, so personally I dont mind people dropping their favorites, as long as there is no obvious pattern like theyre all from the same org somehow or some shit like that. Did your screen go back to flat mode? If so, then its nearly impossible to determine who is responding to whom. Made sure you are in "tree" mode and you will see the indents. A post way down the board may be indented to one near the top, Just trace along the "guide lines" on the left to keep it straight.

Until TER's last upgrade being in flat mode made it almost impossible to know who was responding to who and those people who viewed the boards in flat mode were constantly replying to the wrong people. I think most long term users here just got used to using tree mode, because the prior versions of flat mode made threads almost impossible to follow. Newer users like yourself quite naturally use the easier to follow flat mode while most older posters don't even consider using flat mode because being conditioned to it sucking balls. I kind of stumbled on it by accident a couple of years ago and I much prefer it to the current way that tree mode works.
I try to stay in tree until I end up with a message on the right side that is only two or three characters wide, then switch to flat for that particular thread. You just have to remember to switch back again.
