I used to be very active in the hobby. Then TER went dark for awhile and then COVID hit. So I’ve been out except for an UTR a provider for the last 4 years.
I had many friends and had really good experiences. I miss it. I want to get back into hobbying. I just renewed TER VIP membership. I was a RS2K member but I see that has changed and I would need to re-join. My question for the ladies - with 12 TER whitelists and 16 reviews - do I need to rejoin RS2K for screening ? I’m happy to provide real name, phone, and town as well as a comprehensive introduction and description. Being out since COVID I really don’t have access to recent references. Please advise. Responses would be very much appreciated.
Welcome back, NDIB. The majority of companions accept personal/employment screening, and since it sounds like you're willing to provide that, you're good to go! Very few companions use verification sites or whitelists of any type anymore. And some (like myself) are still reference friendly, but almost no one requires them.
My suggestion-consider signing up for X/twitter or bluesky. Some companions still use TER, but the majority have migrated to social platforms. Since you seem to enjoy longer term friendships, the extra bonus is social media gives you a better way to get a sense of a companion's personality and if you'll get along before you reach out. More hits, fewer misses!
