A warning to any TBD readers/members. Posts about the arrest are disappearing from the TBD boards almost as fast as they're posted. Someone is obviously watching ...
Interesting comment from the AP story for anyone who's a little unnerved by the arrest ...
"Detectives said there was nothing illegal about the discussions, and in order to arrest anyone they had to catch either the escorts or their customers in the act of committing prostitution. That was difficult."
MileHigh lifted this qoute from the AP coverage...

I know it's easier said than done but, don't let nervousness and paranoia get the best of you. This will blow over. There's a reason why they call it "the world's oldest profession."
Well, after a good night's sleep I find that even my attempt at a reasoned post was tinged with a bit of paranoia.
While the majority of the posts on the bust were indeed deleted from the TBD boards, the Mods have been 'fessing up to deleting them early in the day. The rational was based on the highly speculative and derogatory posts which showed up early as well as an attempt to wait for the full and accurate story to emerge.
So, while we should assume LE was and perhaps still is watching the boards, the deleted posts were not necessarily a sinister attempt to perpetuate the sting. My bad.
While I would bet that TBD will not survive in its current form, the boards are still active albeit with less than their normal amounts of traffic. As has been noted in the AP post and elsewhere, it ain't a crime to post. It would be silly (and just a wee bit paranoid) to assume even Ashcroft himself would take the time and effort to prosecute thousands of misdemeanor charges without any proof of a crime.
So life goes on, some of the more paranoid will stop visiting the boards or even quit hobbying altogether. The rest of us will become a little more careful, but otherwise continue to enjoy the community of hobbyists and providers on this forum and others. The hobby comes with risks. We all know that. Those that participate weigh the risks against the reward and find a suitable balance.
My sincere sympathies go out to the people involved. As a community we should be supporting them rather than worrying about some over-zealous DA coming after us. Let's keep this in perspective.
So party on ... but - as always - be careful out there.
I have elected to keep a low radar, for now on. I feel that is my best course, for the time being. Yes, I will continue to post on the TER, but I will also have stricter guidelines in meeting, for my safety. All ladies should continue to do what they need to do, but also be aware what has happen to others, could no doubt happen to them. Just all providers and hobbyists continue to be safe!
I agree.... I will continue to post as well although now I must be cautious . I will only be seeing friends I have seen before or who can provide a verifiable reference from another provider.
Well next week I will be heading to Boston Either Wed. or Thurs. and I do hope you have time to meet with me for a drink or dinner (or something! LOL)....looking forward to meeting you sweetie! You be safe and as always if you need anything from my side give me a yell! ~Smooches~ Chrissy
I hear ya there, girlfriend ^5 Always remain on the alert, for sure. Yes, keep me posted, and of course- I will make time for you, as well!!!! I've been wanting to meet you so bad. Also, will you be bringing our girlfriend, Jill along, as well??? I've been dying to meet her toooooooo. I am going to speak to some of the other providers to see if they want to hang out! Woo hoo... us girls together=watch out men!
~Smile~ Hey Teddy what a kind offer ....Well it started off with Mel & I but we are trying to recruit several other provider's to have a well deserved "Girl's Night Out" no boy's allowed, well for this night anyways!!! *Wink* ~Kisses~ Chrissy
