My favorite quote from the TV game announcers last night.  It was great to see Shaun Alexander on the sidelines too, saying "we have some Bear-like football days coming up at Alabama".  He is indeed correct.

I woke up early this morning with the sweetest smile on my face :)  I believe I likely slept that way the whole night.

Don't count the Dogs out yet, the past couple years have been crazy with upsets; look at USC - Oregon.  Oklahoma will be #1 this week - and the Buckeye's have their running game back. Anything can happen.

I'm not counting Georgia out. They'll get better as the season goes on. I'm especially going to pull for them in two weeks against Tennessee! It's going to be an interesting season in the best football conference in the country!!!!

I chuckled when a blackout was declared earlier in the week because it reminded me of the TN-AL game in 1986 when Tennessee dressed in all orange, even the shoes (an ugly thought even for a UT student and graduate).

All the wearing all orange got us was a 56-28 "butt whipping" in 1986.

History tends to repeat itself. I sure as hell hope UT doesn't try the all orange thing against Alabama this year!
