You def need two iphones for hobbying. Leave the "main" phone at your work or wherever you're suppose to be. Take the other "play" iphone with you to your date. Forward all phone calls from "main" to "play". iMessage will receive messages on different devices. iMessage will also send messages from your "play" as your "main". Be safe!

I was being funny. Although I don’t know what his wife did to him after that encounter. Ugh, poor guy! Prayers for him that he is still breathing.  

As for having a hobby phone, that’s probably best and if you can hide it in the garden or tape it to the bottom of a tool set. I don’t know, but be safe gentlemen.

Alternative tip: if you turn off location sharing, your people may be alerted. There are ways to avoid this so be very careful to follow those steps. Or, try this-COMMUNICATE that you need to be ultra discreet with your date-when you’re close to the location, ask for final arrival instructions-download your map for offline use-put the phone in airplane mode-have fun-when your date is done, return to where you put the phone in airplane mode and return to normal operations.  

The main point is to be careful for everyone’s safety and discretion.
