Wasn't it Clapper who testified under oath that security agencies were NOT collecting meta data on average citizens communications? He did walk that back later under a torrent of criticism. So was he a liar or just stupid?

I need to preface this by pointing out that I have seen Brokaw on MSNBC, more than a couple times get sucked into the typical feeding frenzy seen there. Still, he has regained some composure in this clip, chiding his comrades to chill.
