like you say it would taint the results. I say so what. I do tell them I saw a review from this site and alot of gurls and girls are already familiar with it. Some are curious and ask questions about the site and I tell them like it is. Some gurls don't take the clue and I say nothing more of it. I don't mention it to blackmail for better service but if a provider takes the clue and I benefit as a result....me bad? I figure if a provider uses it for their financial gain we all benefit. I do tell the good providers (afterwards) that I am a member of a website that reviews providers. I ask for permission to review them. Many times I have shown them the site and I always email them a link and text of the review. I know one has joined the site because I got a PM from them (referral fee?)
What I depend on is the support of the other members to mention they saw a review also. This lets the provider track where the calls are coming from. I have had providers toss me freebies for the business this site has returned to them. One gurl asked if there was a recent review of her because there was a recent spurt (no pun intended) in her business. Another told me that she received 10 to 15 calls after the review posted. I met a gurl for the second after I reviewed them and they asked me what my handle was and when I told them they said that another client also from TER recognized me and said that I was "the" old timer from the board. If somebody is spreading nasty rumors about me, Thanks! Keep it up.

I think it's a double-edged sword. Personally I'd prefer most providers not identify me with my TER handle. I do often mention when I call a provider that I READ her reviews on the site in order to help promote the delivery of the same results which drew me especially to her without having to graphically request any of them, but since the fact is I give ratings that are a bit lower than the average (even my ATF got higher ratings elsewhere!), when they do learn who I am, they're usually just pissed I didn't score them higher! Also, unless you are indeed an oldtimer with many reviews, such as wantats, there's a good chance your credibility will be blown when you give a gurl an unusually high score for an unfathomable reason. Not to mention it would piss me off! 
But if you can post an honest review and still get a freebie, more power to you. It's the multiplicity of reviews that I find so helpful, so if a girl's gonna give EVERYbody a good time for a good review, then please tell us in the review so we can all benefit! LOL
