By the way, when I checked into that Ramada Inn (Pssst, the price on *THAT* Friday night was $199.00 a night, not including a $20.00 parking fee and tax) there was a guy sitting outside the elevator as I exited into the fourth floor after checking in at 10:30 that night. I was surprised to find he was still there five hours later when I returned still sitting in his chair. What was that all about ? Is it common for these hotels to have "security" on every floor all night ? What do these hotels and inns fear ?
