Does anyone else find it extremely annoying to look on the Virginia ads hoping to find something in the 7 cities or Richmond or Williamsburg etc and find providers posting for DC, Dupont Circle, Tyson's Corner etc??? I understand they are all located in Virginia, but thats waaaaay North Virginia and the reason for the Virginia ad was to cover the smaller less visited cities, right? Especially since Washington D. C. has its own ad section.

........she should advertise of the Virginia Board.  If a provider is staying in DC, she should post on the DC Board.  I might be wrong (usually am when it comes to TER), but if a provider will be in two cities during a tour, I think they allow providers to advertise specific dates, in each area, and on both boards.

LDR

I've mostly ever posted in the DC forum, even though I mainly work in NOVA. I haven't had the most luck however, so I may start trying the VA board. Thanx for the advice!

Not trying to knock anyones hustle, but It gets clients hopes up to see an ad on the Virginia Board, then click the link and she's visiting D.C., with concurrent ads on the D.C. board. I'm all about if she will be in Richmond, or Hampton Roads, or Fredericksburg etc. Its the same as posting in San Diego that your visiting L.A. or Orange County, 3 hours away.

Some providers are located in the middle and are able to travel frequently to both sides

I get that for the providers that travel to the areas I'm talking about. But I have contacted some in the past and asked if they tour Richmond etc and it's 9 out of 10 times a no.

Lots of ladies are in Arlington/ Dulles or west rather than central or southeast VA...still VA and many are willing to travel if it works with the schedule.  Nonetheless if this is tough stuff, maybe it is better for TER to make the area more specific.  I find the general area called Carolinas even more difficult.

Yes, a provider might be willing to travel, but this should be posted on their web site, or in their visiting ad, if they are setting up camp in a specific city.  IMO- what part of this are you not understanding?

A little off topic but the VA ad board is a new board there is a new member signing up almost everyday.

If you break it down it comes down to  traveling hobbyist vs home hobbyist. A few of my clients that only visit DC/VA for business are traveling hobbyists they tend to look at the VA board for anyone in Arlington or Tysons Corner or simply use er*s but it could be because they are just thinking " hey isn't NOva in VA" it wasn't until they met me that they learned they could just look on the DC board. As someone stated before this area is huge for traveling people so not everyone knows the area down to the TEE so for a new member signing up to TER looking for companionship in Arlington and do not know the area they may just look at the VA board since it is in VA and may not  know that they could look on the DC board for those areas especially newbies so because of this I believe ladies post on the VA board because it works for those areas for new gentlemen in the area. I have learned posting on the DC board is better for me but i'm making a general statement

The way I see it is someone can't go wrong if they just cross check both boards when seeking. I've seen ladies on the DC ad board in Tysons corner and I've seen ladies on the VA ad board in Tysons Corner. It is like this in many cities. I know it is probably annoying to people on the VA board who expect to see Richmond instead of Arlington or Tysons Corner but really it's no way to separate it unless it was mandatory that VA board is only used for smaller cities deeper in VA and not cities close to DC.

Happy Sunday Everyone.

There was no Virginia board so everyone in Northern Virginia got used to using DC's board.  It's hard to break that habit, and some feel if they are in Virginia (even Northern Virginia) they should be using the Virginia board. Makes sense but tradition is messing everyone up!

as well as NOVA...  I feel what you are saying - I offer West side of VA, south of Fredericksburg and east coast within 2 hours or 3 of 95 corridor.. just a thought if you want to prebook and meet up and I offer Specials if you prebook and ask me..

...was to provide a place for discussions and ads about the rest of Va not in the DC area

I advertise all these other cities you are looking for and visit..shoot me an email if you are still interested.. as i visit those locations both south and west and east on monthly basis.. to include..
WILLIAMSBURG
FREDERICKSBURG
RICHMOND
CHARLOTTESVILLE
VA BEACH
STAFFORD
WOODBRIDGE
ASHLAND
