The overlap between traveling models and escorts?
Hey guys,
I have noticed that there might be an overlap between traveling models and escorts. The reason is that modeling is a low-paying career. Most of the time the photographers don't want to pay to do shoots they want the shoots to be free "for the portfolio" or want the model or someone to pay them. Also, it seems it is a very competitive industry where the big agencies only sign up the top talent and everyone else has to go "gig from gig, "Hence, it'll be difficult to image a model would have enough money to be on a 5-star resort in Costa Rica. In Europe and Canada, I think the line is more clear; the women will have a "date me/meet up section" on their website.
(1) I found a profile on a more popular model site and another on a more indie adult content type job.
(2) I did a photoshoot once with a "somewhat" experience model and a photographer, friend, and model and she, was very comfortable with nudity.
(3) The vast majority of modeling online that I've seen in my portfolio seems to involve heavy nudity and simulated sexual content, for instance, women on top of each other eating fruits. It seems 70% of modeling jobs involve lingerie,
swimwear, nudity, or simulated sex acts. And only 30% involved "fashion clothing." It seems those "brand jobs" with clothing stores are left exclusively for big agencies where the clothing store owner calls/emails the agency, and the agency brings them the models they need and does the whole shoot in a few hours.
What do you guys think? Also, I'm not advocating for anything like going at Dm'ing models..etc.; I only wanted to share my insights based on my observations and compare notes with you guys. It seems with the whole metoo movement nowadays, many of these practices are being hampered down. Also, I think it's a "two-way street," at least in Europe. I've some European models who were actively looking for guys to finance their trips.
