I heard that The Phillips Collection is one of the best and smaller museums in the DC area and I must admit I'm pretty excited about going.

Can anybody vouch for the commute from Tysons Corner? I will be visiting NOVA and I was wondering if it's far or nearby.  After looking at google I'm confused lol. I do know where Dupont is so if it's a short walk from there that wouldn't be a problem for me.

Thanks in advance :-)

Hi Ally -- it is definitely worth going to if you're an art lover!  It is walkable from the DuPont circle metro.  If you are driving, parking is tough nearby, and can take a while during rush hour.

When are you getting to tysons?

Thank you so much Jay, I truly appreciate it.  :-)
I'm a huge art lover on some many levels but that's another conversation lol.
I'll be there again 6/16- 6/18.

XOXO

Jidoughe is correct.  But if you are staying in Tysons, most of the popular hotels are within walking distance of the metro.  The rest have shuttles.  The Phillips Collection is WELL worth it.

But consider also the National Gallery of Art, especially the East Wing.  Have lunch at the cafeteria between the two buildings and watch the waterfall, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KoedZBJurvI

Also consider seeing the Corcoran Gallery
